I've seen the first few episodes and will be watching when it starts on TEN. The main detective recruits his brother to help him with his cases using mathematics to solve the crimes. In short, an above average crime show!

It premieres Monday August 15 at 9:00pm, before moving to it's regular timeslot of 8:30pm Monday the following week.

I just saw the ad for it, & it looks good. Given that it is by Tom & Ridley Scott, I'd expect it to be good.

Yeah, so far this is selling itself better than Grey's Anatomy. I can't wait for this one.

Well put.

I enjoy maths and crime shows, so hopefully they mix well for me too. :D

It's funny, I remember this popping up out of no where when I was following the 2004/2005 US season and thinking what an interesting idea. It held a steady ground for quite some time in the ratings and then suddenly I heard nothing. Probably because it had a short season, i'm not too sure, i didn't delve that much into it, but you gotta love a crime show that is different to all the other CSI's and L&O's.

Give both a shot and decide afterwards. I'm going to try and do that.

Me too.

I've turned off most crime shows like L&O and CSI because it's always the same.

I only saw the ad for this last night  and thought now there's something I'll watch. :D

[quote:efbcfb7d4c]About the Show

Rob Morrow stars as FBI agent Don Eppes, who recruits his mathematical genius brother, Charlie (David Krumholtz), to help the Bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. From two very different perspectives, the brothers take on the most confounding criminal cases, aided by Don's partner, Terry Lake (Sabrina Lloyd), and new FBI recruit David Sinclair (Alimi Ballard). Although their father, Alan (Judd Hirsch), is pleased to see his sons working together, he fears their competitive nature will lead to trouble. Charlie's colleague, physicist Dr. Larry Fleinhardt (Peter MacNicol), urges Charlie to focus more on his university studies than on FBI business. Inspired by actual events, NUMB3RS depicts how the confluence of police work and mathematics provides unexpected revelations and answers to the most perplexing criminal questions. [/quote:efbcfb7d4c]
