Sorry about posting it here, but for some reason I can start this thread on the "Dramas and Comedies" board.

Does anybody here know of the proposed plot for 7 series Always Greener for the season after it was canned?

I am just curious because they introduced all this new stuff in the last five minutes at the end of the last season which we never found out about.

I never read of any. Maybe someone else will know. There was once around a site from a guy who was addicted to the show. Maybe it is still around.

I understand if you are frustrated, I wanted to know about it as well.

There was a planned series before it was cancelled, and they had already shot and filmed most of it before it was given the chop. What ch7 did with the footage, i dont know, but i definately know that they have episodes that were meant to tie up a few things.... dont know whether they will screen it now...

Perhaps they might show the additional Episodes on Foxtel later on.

It is on at 3:30 on weekends on Hallmark.

They recently had the episode where the Neighborhood House opened ....

I agree - great show :D

This was one of the best shows. Do you think they would ever release the series on DVD? I would love to watch it again.

As for what was said above, no they did not film anymore episodes than what we saw. What happened was that Channel 7 gave the show the go ahead for another season, but about a week before production they decided to drop it. So I'm sure that the script for some future storylines would have been written, they just would have never been filmed. :(

Such a great show. I remember being devastated when hearing of it's axing.

I was a late addition to the Always Greener fandom....and from what I have read, Whilst the ratings weren't bad, according to channel 7, they weren't good enough to continue the high filming costs of the show. They panned it suddenly leaving almost a full season unaired.

Part of its 'panning' had to do with the ratings in its Sunday timeslot (which was against [i:4c379cb141]60 Minutes[/i:4c379cb141]), and I think they changed it to Monday nights for a while but I don't know what it was up against then.

Another part of its 'panning' had to do with the ratings compared with other Channel 7 shows like [i:4c379cb141]Blue Heelers[/i:4c379cb141] and [i:4c379cb141]All Saints[/i:4c379cb141]... I don't understand that at all, but that's what I read on the matter.

This was the best Australian drama i have watched...but of course stupid ugly Channel 7 had to cancel it. Why don't they just die already. I will only forgive them if we get a DVD release with ALL EPISODES...even unaired ones. That was the most unintelligent decision they have ever made.

I can't believe they dropped this show. It is like one of the best aussie dramas around and they complain about the struggling aussie drama yet this show is way better than headland and rated way better than headland. They should have kept it going.
