I don't know if anyone else saw this advertised while McLeod's Daughters was on yesterday but I did.
It has Jessica Napier in it she was originaly on MD and also a chick from Always Greener.
Looks like it could be good can't wait for it to come along.

Yep I saw it but not during McLeods Daughters, I was watching Sunday last Sunday and it popped.

Worth a look to make a decision whether to follow-up-watch-or_not I reckon

Hopefully it will be a drama and not a soap-opera

Okay, I tried to watch The Alice tonight, but after 1/2 hour in it had lost my interest.

Maybe I should have stuck with it but I didn't feel like wading thru two hours of it.

Hey

Its a telemovie at the moment.

Channel Nine has comissioned scripts for a series, which means it is this close to becoming a series for 2005 on a weekly basis.

Goodbye Stingers in November 2004 and hello The Alice in 2005.

Yeah, it was surprisingly good. The imaginary friend was cool.
I got a bit confused, though. Was Eric whatsisface supposed to be Jessica Napier's father?

Anyway, did anyone recognise that aboriginal dude? I did! He played Paul on Lift-Off a good 12 years ago. Remember, he had that annoying little sister Ani or something, and his mother went around in her van and fixed things. :?

Anyway, I hope it is made into a TV series because I would actually watch it... If it was still good, that is.

Yeah Eric is Jess's father as I take it from what he said near the end of the show.

It was fantastic and I can't wait to see in a series should be bloody great.

I liked how open ended they left it - definately left you wanting to know & see more. Loved the sheep thing & the whole Simon Burke dead friend thing was interesting.....and kind of creepy when u saw him sitting atop the caravan driving out of town clearly still in her consciousness. Plus loved the photography - beautifully shot, even the solar eclipse looked realistic. ......Must admit when the tourists came out in the gold outfits I thought the telemovie was doomed to head down a sci-fi ill advised path but luckily that was just a weird side story.

As for Eric being Jesse's father I spotted that one off when he pulled over & gave her a lift.....he'd already mentioned he was looking to reunite with people from 20 years back so my mind went straight to oh she's about 20 she's gonna be his daughter. However predictable I look foward to seeing that relationship.
