Planescape Torment is an old RPG (from 1999 I think) but it was a very original and brilliant game (from what I'd played of it).
I was wondering if anyone knows where I can buy or download it legally?
I've recently seen it on ebay but it's very expensive.

Thanks guys.

I have a copy but not a spare. If the worst comes to worst I could loan it if you just want to play it through (I have some walkthroughs too).

Mot otherwise aware of places to buy. Last I saw it was joined with other games like Icewind Dale as a two pack given that it (unfortunately) didn't do well in sales.

Looking on ebay I see a few going for the $40 mark though I do see the high prices you mention.

I will say that if you have played it and you have seen some of the mysteries throughout the game that is nothing to the final revelation of the secrets behind The Nameless One and his immortality

PF, I really appreciate the offer, thanks, but I might just wait it out and see if Steam gets it soon. Or Good Old Games.
Thanks again though.

* Hoping to talk to you more about the overall experience. It definitely pays to pay attention to the dialogue (and of course play it more than once) but it is less about a twist or surprise ending, and more about 'you haven't been thinking big enough' :silenced:

Sounds good. I enjoy lots of dialogue but only if it's well written and P:T has it in spades. Have a good rest of the week mate!

Shall try!

* Thinks about giving the game another bash - have played three times and each has been incrementally better *

I finally bought it. I'm not very far. Almost half-way through the 1st Floor of the Mortuary (I expect). It's a good game but it's not letting me walk around without saying 'Encumbered: cannot run', when all I want to do is walk. I'm guessing it's because I'm carrying too many items but how do I know what items are okay to throw away, but it's still annoying. Any help? Thanks!
