I found this game on Facebook, and it's terribly addictive...I spent 2 hours playing it the other night and lost track of time

My question is, I've googled the game and it's around $20 to buy and download online (more expensive through Bigpuddle though I notice :? ). I want to know if I can buy it from a physical shop or if it's only available online. I have a credit card so that's not a problem, but my husband isn't too keen on downloading software in case there's a bug in it - he's a bit of a Luddite

You can play the game for free from the Pop Cap webite, however I'm not sure if there's a disc version of it, I may have seen Mac versions at one time but that's it.

If you download from the Pop Cap website or from Steam, you should be fine. You might even trip over a sale period with the latter; I managed to get another Pop Cap game, Peggle, from $US5 instead of $USwhaever the price was. By the way, don't play Peggle if you treasure your free time - it's somewhat addictive.

The lesson: Pop Cap are evil!

I'm pretty sure it's on Xbox Live Arcade, if you have an Xbox 360.

You missed the point. On Xbox Live it's re-downloadable so there's no risk of losing it.

I have downloaded it from MSN Games with no problems at all. Yes, it is terribly addictive, especially on a 19" monitor.

Thanks all :)
I've decided to play it online from the Pop Cap website and have a look around to see if I can find it on a disc, or a similar game.

Yuppieville - yes Pop Cap are evil.... :D

We went to Dick Smiths and found another version of this game called Bejewelled Twist. We registered it online (a site called Mindscape) and received a 20% discount on our next purchase - lo and behold they had Bejewelled 2 so I managed to get the disc for just over $20 including postage

Here's to a lot of wasted hours..... :D

You can get games for a lot less than that from Big Fish games.
There are two theories about how to win an argument with a woman. Neither one works.

Bejeweled sure is addictive but I found another addictive game that I like more called Chuzzle.
My dad's pc had a sample of Chuzzle, which allowed only 30 mins of play before you got a message saying you could buy it for $19 online.

A few days later I stumbled upon a copy of the game for PC at Kmart, the only copy of it there, and snapped it up. It was $20 but well worth it for hours of addictive gameplay.
Tony: "I'm not getting any reception. How about you?"
Ziva: "I'm braless"
Tony: "I noticed that earlier. But on your phone, they're called 'bars'"

NCIS :)
