Has anyone heard about this show, by the USA Network?

I've only just learned about it through the announcement Season 1 is coming to DVD in March in the U.S.

Here is the synopsis for the show. Sounds very interesting. I'm downloading Episode 1 now. Season 1 started last year in June....

[b:0f52683bda]In Plain Sight[/b:0f52683bda] follows the story of a Federal Marshal with the Witness Protection program who must hide her high-risk, high-impact job from her family. To those that know her, Mary Shannon is a glorified meter maid, but her real job is much more dangerous. She must oversee federal witnesses who have been relocated through the Witness Protection program and make sure that they stay safe.

The series stars [b:0f52683bda]Mary McCormack[/b:0f52683bda] in the title role and [b:0f52683bda]Lesley Ann Warren[/b:0f52683bda] as her mother, Jinx. (Working title - Mary Sunshine)

In Plain Sight is produced by Universal Media Studios for USA Network.

Yes, I've already seen season 1 via download. I think I've also seen it promoted on Australian TV. Not sure whether it was FTA or Foxtel, though.

I found it quite interesting, but wouldn't rave about it.

It was on Channel 10 Tuesday (IIRC) at 930 after NCIS for a couple weeks, didn't rate so was taken off. Lasted about 4 eps I think. I only lasted 1.5 eps of it.

I thought it was a good show, 10 were silly to remove it so soon (think the lowest it rated was about 800,000). I tuned in to the pilot not knowing what to expect, to me it was more like a low budget movie (didn't have the same slick production values as an L&O or CSI kind of show), had some humour and i didn't mind the characters.

I liked it as well and was p***ed when 10 yanked it. It was a nice combo of action ,drama and comedy.

Much better then the dreary & grim L&O series.

I saw a couple of episodes on Ten. A mix of mundane, 'comedy' and wafer thin plots. I've no desire to ever watch it again.
Modest to the top.

this returns to FTA, but not where it used to be on Ten but Eleven.

would have thought this would be better suited for One.

I believe it's back with Season 4, on Saturday night at 10:50 on 11.
