This satirical documentary airs (or aired in most timezones, I'm in WA :P) tonight at 8.30pm on SBS. It is made by and stars Charles Firth (who was/is a member of The Chaser).

Anyone watched it? What did you think!

So did I. :)

Though the sub-plot/cut aways or whatever to he and his crew's misadventures were not so interesting for me - though I guess I was missing the point, as I entered into it expecting it to be full on about the subject matter. But obviously it's a comedy, so forgot about that a little. :P

Speaking of cuttaways, one I did not mind were the cinema ones, which were often preceding and proceding the ad breaks. The first one caught me off guard, until I realised the three and a half minutes he was refering to (With the phone call) was actually in reference to the coming ad break! Quite clever, satirical in itself that. 8)

I really didn't think it was funny at all. The scenes with his production crew weren't funny, he tried to make jokes with 9/11 which still just don't work, and I thought he focused more on Bush than Obama and McCain. Overall it was really disappointing.
