[quote:5ab86f999a]CSI: NEW YORK: Yes, it was only a matter of time. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the city that never sleeps will soon be the backdrop of the next incarnation of CBS' "CSI" franchise. The drama, expected to be titled "CSI: New York," will be created by the "CSI" brain trust of executive producers Anthony Zuiker, Ann Donahue and Carol Mendelsohn. Zuiker is expected to serve as showrunner. [/quote:5ab86f999a]

This'll be great, another crime show. Love these Law & Order and CSI shows.

Heard somewhere that Jimmy Smits from L.A. Law has been signed up for it. Has anyone heard who else is in the series?

Well, I'm going against the grain here - another one?

My god, there are 3 L&O's, now 3 CSI's - when will it end. Its almost like the new reality TV or something! I'm all up for good crime shows, anything is better than reality garbage, but networks really love spreading a good thing too thin! :?

What would you prefer Cale, Reality TV... Australian Idol, Survivor 'All Stars', Pop Stars, Big Brother, Hot House, The Block where all we hear are people bitch about eachother and vote eachother off or have us spent $XXXX to get them off OR have NYPD Blue, CSI, Law & Order, Monk, Dragnet and other shows that deal with murder and crime and mayhem? Don't think its a tough choice heh.

Since you put NYPD Blue, Monk, Law & Order, and Dragnet into one list I will choose the other by default.

Now don't get me wrong I like crime shows but only to an extent. I can watch Without A Trace and CSI, and sometimes CSI: Miami but anymore than that a week and crime shows become kind of boring.

Now you might think I watch, all the reality tv shows out there, but that's just not the case! The only reality tv shows I watch are Survivor: All Stars, The Mole, and The Amazing Race. I don't think you can even count the last one since it's on at midnight.

I know its corny but the saying "All things are best in moderation" is just about always true and what I'm getting at is CSI: New York will have to good for me to watch it because Without A Trace, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and sometimes CSI: Miami are already in my schedule so it will need to be good for me to watch it and watch FOUR crime shows.

Though if it winds up being put up against crap on the other channels I'll probably just watch it anyway :(

Though I am going to try and watch more documentary and current affairs shows this year, and no not A Current Affair and Today Tonight, real current affairs shows like The 7:30 Report, Four Corners, The Cutting Edge, and Dateline.

Plus one of my favourite shows MEDIA WATCH!!!!!

I'm not sure what the media watch sentance has to do with crime shows but

Discuss!
