Anyone here watched this most excellent British Drama?

I've just watched 7 seasons over the last two months and am about to start Season 8.

I LOVED Prisoner, but this show is so much better.

Yeap watch all of the seven seasons released on DVD. Excellent show.

I just finished watching the Christmas Special from Seaason 7.
I have to say it was themost bizzare episode of the series.

I have season 8 on disc, downloaded them.

I just read the FX is the USA is looking at making their own version of the show using the same characters.

I hope they dont use the same stories, but the characters would be great.

I have seen the first 6 seasons and desperately want to get them on DVD but the prices are still too high.

I love the show. Probably my favourite British tv show.

I wish Channel 7 had continued to play the show beyond the first few seasons.

This show is a classic example of when a show needs to end. The first three years were outstanding, the next three were silly but entertaining, and the final two were in need of putting down. The final season was a travesty.

Still, I dropped a fair bit of coin on all the box sets.

I loved this show but agree that the whole Fenner never getting busted storyline was getting tired.

Once Yvonne left it kind of lost it's hero. God, she was a fab character and what a final episode that was...fade to black, sombre music.

Befitting for the ultimate bad girl.

Still to see 8 as I too pocketed out a lot for the DVD'd

Don't waste your money on Season 8 - it's dire.
