I've notice that they have it on the comedy channel again!.This brings back memories i used to watch the videos they had at video shop religiously.Great show and beats many of the animated comedies that have come after it.

I watched it this morning i haven't laughed so hard in a long time.

I want the DVD's they have but i cant afford them. :(

The Mike Judge Collection volumes are around $25 when they're on special, and each contains about 40 cartoons as well as a third disc containing a decent amount of bonus content.

The movie also costs around $12 if you can find it cheap.

However, if you're willing to save up, all three volumes (as well as the movie) will set you back around $70 (or less as it's yet to be released). It was supposed to be out on Thursday, but there's been a delay, however I REALLY want to get my hands on it (This'll actually be the most I'll ever spend on a DVD set lol).

Yes, it's moronic, but it's depiction of modern idiotic teenagers is spot on. Shame that it's not nearly as prevalent in pop culture as it was a decade ago.

I'd take Beavis and Butthead over Family Guy/American Dad etc any day. Annoying that they're being shown on the comedy channel when I'm away and can't watch my foxtel though :x

American Dad is excellent. I'm sorry, I have to point that out, because it too often gets maligned in the same basket as FG, when it's a vastly different show.

Beavis and Butthead's okay...not great. I prefer KoTH.

I thought that too once upon a time. Watch it again...I think you might be surprised. It's [i:af05f48d55]exceedingly[/i:af05f48d55] funny. You just have to let it work it's magic on you.

King of the Hill is rather genius, actually.

Those sound like the words of a person who has never watched a single episode of the show. :eh:

I don't remember what my first impression of the show was (although I didn't enjoy it as much as I enjoyed The Simpsons), but I was definately intrigued enough to tune into a few episodes here and there when I (briefly) had Foxtel a few years back. The first episodes I've ever watched were from Season three (the lawnmower focus group episode followed by To Spank With Love). Great stuff. :D Definately held my attention moreso than Family Guy and South Park. However it wasn't "must see" viewing as I wasn't too keen on the relatively early 5.30pm timeslot. If it were on AFTER The Simpsons instead I definately would have tuned in more often. Nowadays, I don't give a crap what time it's on. Hell I'll stay up until 3am if it means getting my KotH fix if Seven would just get their act together and PLAY THE DAMN SHOW!

As soon as Season One was released here, I snapped it up as soon as I could as I REALLY wanted to give the show a chance. Hell, I laughed till I cried before I was even done watching the first disc. :P A great example of a show that doesn't rely on pop culture references or gimmicky storylines for the sake of humour (*cough*SIMPSONS*cough*)

Oh, and Beavis and Butt-head kicks ass. :P
