I'm 60% certain this show is hilarious. If it's the show I'm thinking of- and I'm fairly certain it is- I saw an ep one night once that made me fall out of bed from laughter.

Anyway, it's on SBS this Thursday night at 10pm. Right before Donnie Darko. We'll see if I was right or not.

'The Mighty Boosh' is a brilliant, very funny and highly original series! :)

It stars Noel Fielding and Julian Barrat.
Noel Fielding (who portrays the character Vince) also featured on the television series 'The I.T. crowd' (shown here on the ABC in 2006), where he portrayed the character 'Richmond'.

I think that these episodes of 'The Mighty Boosh' will be repeats, but I am still looking forward to watching the episodes again.

"Come with us now on a journey through time and space".

This is season 2. I don't think SBS have shown these ep's, but I might be wrong. Got a nice write-up in the Herald Sun today. :)

I can think of many words to describe this show. Sensible not being one of them.

That was completely bonkers. Absolutely bat-s**t insane.

Shopping in the woods with a gorilla? Uh huh.

Magazine's delivered via ninja's running alongside you're vehicle? Yep.

Moon reciting poetry? Riiight.

Loved it. :D

You are right. :) SBS haven't played season 2 before.

The episode that aired last night was brilliant, and I loved the scene where Vince was deciding what clothes to take on the trip!

My sources tell me this week's ep features a rabbit playing a guitar solo.

...which is exactly what I thought was lacking from last week's lunacy.

Also, Season 1 AND 2 DVD's are both coming out April 4! Same day as Corner Gas!

Had a shify of this on Thursday night - I have to say it freaked me out a little. Naboo scares me a tad :D I really like the visual style, but I'm not quite sure what to make of it. In any case I will proceed with viewings :)

That was absolutely hysterical tonight! :D

Howard trying to impress the goth girls by claiming he defecated on various things was hilarious. So was: "I'm turning my back on you...let that be a lesson to you". And Bollo getting all defensive when he was called an ape..."What? You [i:bbda2e1bba]are[/i:bbda2e1bba] an ape!" "Oh, right. Sorry. "

And the arguements with that clan of wierdoes...with the 11 year old kid who's a sex pervert and that wierd little and utterly useless head thing. Priceless. :D

I think SBS are going to re-run Garth Marenghi's Darkplace soon, which is in the same vein as TMB and also ridiculously funny. Worth keeping an eye out for if you missed it the first time...or even if you didn't. :) The hilarious Richard Ayoade who popped up in tonight's ep is in it, and is brilliant.
