I probably sould've started this thread a few weeks ago, when the show actually begun.....but whatever. So has anyone been watching this awesome anime? Even if you've never watched any anime or your one of those naive fools who believes anime is purely glorified porn or cutesy crap like Pokemon and it's many clones, than this may just be for you.

For those who wanna know it's on 10:00 Thursdays, on SBS.

I watched the anime while it was being fansubbed way back in 2004, however I'm checking it out on TV cos I havent watched the dubbed version. It is Definitely one of my favourite anime's, it's from the creators of Cowboy Bebop, which is a pure classic, which you MUST SEE if you like your shows to be brilliant.

Here's a summary from IMDb:

Two samurai, Mugen and Jin, escape their executions and team up with Fuu, a girl who works at a teahouse. They agree to help her find a 'samurai with the scent of sunflowers.'

Pretty simple story...but that's not the point.
I seriously suggest checking it out. Even if your not a fan of anime you'll more than likely enjoy it. The characters are loveable and their intereaction together is just awesome but also very very funny.

Watch it. Please.
Or better yet someone reply. Please.

And you have to be? No. It's like saying I'm not a fan of television so I wont watch it.

Shame on you. :snooty:

I enjoy anime. It seems decent so far. Nice animation but a bit simple. Why on earth is it MA15+ though? It doesn't seem that extreme to me.
Currently watching:
Kyle XY - Season 2, 30 Rock - Season 2, Vikings, Gankutsuou

And I can't borrow it off my friend, because the DVD it's on is all scratched.
Maybe I'll read the manga one day . . .[/quote:14457f81f5]

Excuses, excuses.

The shows gets much better in the second half, especially towards the end.

There are more violent episodes later, I think. It never is to violent though. I think there's also some sex themes later on, nothing to serious either.
