SHIELD named most promising new show from 220 critics

Hollywood Reporter wrote:TV Critics Name 'Agents of SHIELD' Most Promising Fall Series, Masters of Sex 2nd and The Blacklist 3rd

SHIELD, which was followed by Showtime’s Masters of Sex (2) and NBC’s The Blacklist (3) in the overall category, somehow missed out on the drama category. Top honors there went to The Blacklist — which, oddly, bested Masters of Sex (2) despite falling behind it in the overall category. CBS’ Hostages ranked third.

The top comedy race gave a wide margin of victory to Fox’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine, followed by CBS’ Mom (2) and ABC’s Trophy Wife (3). (The latter two combined received fewer than half of Brooklyn’s votes.)

Among individual performances, the TCA dubbed Sleepy Hollow (Fox) star Tom Mison as the most likely of achieving breakout status. Rebel Wilson (ABC’s Super Fun Night) and Lizzy Caplan (Masters of Sex) followed.

SHIELD was great. Melinda May definitely knows how to kick some butt. I think for the first season at least its going to be enjoyable. Plus its only the first 2 episodes so its got some way to go yet. Only thing that baffled me is how a life raft can fill a hole on a plane like that. It lived up to my expectations anyway and looking forward to its regular viewing.

Next week it moves into its regular timeslot of 8:30pm.

I gave up watching after a few eps, good effects for a TV show though.

Eps 1x10-1x13 are excellent. The show seems to have found its feet. 1x13 has a Stan Lee cameo as well. ;)

1x11 & 1x12 gave a real "insight" into
Spoiler: show
what happened with Coulson post-Avengers and what the mystery is regarding Skye.

this will return to Seven from this Monday night at 9:40pm under a week after the U.S.

I only watched a few eps of Season 1 and gave up, wasn't for me.

it was said that the latest season was going to Foxtel first, not the case now.

New Season: Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D

Channel 7 will finally return Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D to the schedule with episodes screening twice weekly – Sundays and Wednesdays at 10:30pm from December 13th. The show replaces Grey’s Anatomy which has its mid season final December 6th and the final ever episode of The Player which airs December 9th.
