Doesnt the X-Files's Gillian Anderson make a guest appearance for a couple of episodes later on?

Watched the first 2 episodes. While I'm not completely on board just yet, it's far better than that trite The Following.

This show actually has the look, feel and execution of a cable series. It's not rushed, it isn't melodramatic and the dialogue isn't terrible. Hell, the producers are even promising 13 episode seasons to avoid filler.

I've been watching avidly (just watched ep 6) and am really enjoying it. Be interesting to see if we get ep4 or not considering that episode was pulled from the schedule the week of the Boston bombings.

Gillian Anderson does appear...for a lengthy arc playing Hannibal's psychiatrist!

Gillian Anderson appeared in the finale (aired in the US today)

She was only signed on to appear in 4 episodes, but her appearance in the finale adds up to 5

for those who missed Season 1, 7 is replaying it this Sunday night/Monday morning at 12:30am.

I was taping Season 1 and my recordings were lost, so happy to find out they are playing it again.

Season 2 starts on Seven on Monday 13 July @ 10.30pm.
The power of submission lies not in the ability to kneel before another, to give over one's body or in the wearing of a collar.
The power of submission can be found only in the heart of one who gives her love to another freely knowing what joy and pain will come of it - Roguer
