^^ If it wasn't for Chris Hemsworth and Henry Cavill I'd have less interest in the DC/Marvel epics, but I try and catch them eventually.
I watched Capt America Civil War the other night. Didn't mind it for what it is.

Last movie watched ... THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE. :P

last theatrical movie of 2017 and first of 2018:

The Greatest Showman

not bad, good songs and well made. not much to the movie as its a musical but the music is the best part about it.

Downsizing

a unique idea, reminded me of Truman Show with that. you watch the movie and think ok, he's decided to shrink himself, experiences it... then what? where can they go from here. then they introduce a character midway through and they go with that but I couldn't think of where else they could have gone with the movie. it's a tad long though, but the character I speak of, which I won't spoil as it wasn't in trailers but they were the highlight. it's the type of movie where the premise is interesting but the execution is the hard part to come up with. my local cinema must have a problem with Matt Damon, Suburbicon had maybe 1 or 2 sessions per day and it's the same with Downsizing.

All The Money in the World

saw it just cause if the reshoots and they did a good job, although the most noticeable is in Mark Wahlberg as his hair looks longer in some scenes or shorter in others. acting was good, story was meh. nothing too special, not a bad movie but not all that great.
