Cannot seem to find a thread for Baby Driver so I will review it here.

Baby Driver - Awesome movie! The best I have seen in a long time. Great action, acting and especially a great soundtrack which is essential to the movie!

^^^ I'm looking forward to that one.

We saw The Wizard Of Lies yesterday, it was really good. Interesting being a true story.

just saw Baby Driver and I'm gonna say what I say with every popular movie.... overrated.

I didn't hate it but I definately think its overhyped and I don't get it. the music wasn't even that great, they could have at least played some 80s and 90s music that's actually good. good driving but I've seen better, got better later on when the shootouts happened. didn't like the end. and why can't we get a Nick Frost and Simpn Pegg cameo?! they had a missed opportunity when Baby was flipping through TV channels. average movie.

Dunkirk

don't know what to think of it, visually good and practical effects but no story of character development. for a war movie it's pretty short, which is strange since most of Nolan's recent movies are long. even my Dad who loves everything didn't think much of it. not much of war and battle scenes, mostly at sea. kinda boring actually.

Six Feet Under

been re-watching with my parents, my Dads never seen it and my Mum and I watched it when it aired. we are halfway through season 2. my 2nd favorite show of all time after the Sopranos, but best ending to any tv show of all time. it's such a great show, a dramedy.

highly recommended if you haven't seen it.

Dunkirk - Was not expecting much but I liked it! Looked amazing and despite no character development or names really I was invested the whole time.

the lack of story or character development is why I didn't like it so much, the war scenes were fine but they were no Saving Private Ryan. there wasn't really much battle scenes really, just boat and plane stuff. totally uninteresting, don't see what the fuss is about.

It was not perfect but I enjoyed it for what it was. I didn't really miss character development as the film mainly concentrated on the action rather then the people.
