New Trailer, it's released by WB which might be a first as they've always been Universal movies before.

probably because they're gonna have a Godzilla vs Kong in a few years.

looks good, not blown away by it though.

just saw it, loved it.

there have been a lot of negative reviews, mainly talking about the boring characters and such. that's a pretty stupid thing to be complaining about. Kong himself was awesome, doing what he does best. special effects were great, realistic. it has some funny lines by John C Riley but not too much, trailers made it look like that's all he said.. just there for a comedic character but it's not like that as he is quite serious throughout. the cast were great but Brie and Tom were boring one dimensional characters, nothing to em. had a 2 hour running time, which is great considering the last King Kong move we had was 3 plus hours.

at the very end of the credits there was a reference to Godzilla, setting up the Godzilla vs Kong movie we are getting in 2020. that's a long wait, but what I don't get is why this movie is set in the 70s while Godzilla is set in present day. Kong would be pretty old by 2020 since this movie tells us he's been around for a while. if they are gonna have a crossover, surely they'd want the surviving characters from this and Godzilla to be in it too. the Kong characters would have to be 40+ years older by 2020 so it doesn't make sense to me.

anyway, much better then Godzilla which I found really overrated. this a was fun time at the movies.

This movie was rated 3.5 stars out of 5
