No great loss!! There are plenty of morning news shows all doing nuch the same thing. The channels need to start thinking outside the square imo and find something fresh for us.

The ABC gives me a good start to the day but then I only find I have about half an hour viewing time before I am starting to run out of time getting to work.

That didn't last long. I think I watched it for half an hour when it first started, then went back to 9. At least Karl is less irritating these days, but the adverts in the 6 to 6.30 time slot are ridiculous!

They really thought about the replacement programming too:
0600: Ready Steady Cook :?
0700: Entertainment Tonight
0730: The bold and the beautiful :X

Probably would have been better to stick with Sleep In err Wake Up

Probably should have scheduled Home Shopping Network on at that time, and still nobody would have tuned in

It is channel 10 after all

Personally it was never going to work, however i thought they did a great job from what i saw but what is going on with TEN right now is what happened a few years ago. Its deja vu all over again. TEN will never succeed in this area and bar 4-5 shows in primetime TEN are in a rut that i don't think they will ever get out of unless a miracle happens.

Ten should try compete against SBS and the ABC in terms of lower tier ratings :<

Mind you, with their mentality of failure they would probably lose out to those 2 in the ratings

Told you so!

Wow, that was short lived! :?
From the limited times I have seen her on air (this and other shows) as a host she makes a good newsreader.

Yes, I've always liked her. She's probably too good for Wake Up!
Nowhere else to add this, only place Natashas name pops up in search of forums.

ABC slammed for decision to bench newsreader over blooper

ABC viewers, media veterans and political leaders have slammed the public broadcaster over its bizarre decision to bench a newsreader over an innocent blooper.
