I like that schedule. Great use of the shorter Downton and GCB seasons. I might put DH after them, with big final season promotion. It depends how Revenge goes in the US from here. The lack of room for HIMYM shows why Seven should be fast tracking it now. Maybe they can fastrack in doubles once Four Weddings ends? Then replay them on Mate just before the second half of the season resumes after Easter/MKR finale. Once Upon a Time could premiere around the same time, if it is PG.

I really like BOP paired with CM on Wednesdays too. Does BOP have a full season order?

Thanks. I was thinking the same about DH and Revenge. It all depends on how it goes. If Revenge becomes a hit then it needs Monday not Thursday. Plus it is a soapy style drama and would fit perfectly with GCB. It all depends on it succeeding or not. The only other thing i could do is have Winners and Losers on instead of Rafters but with the Olympics in August Seven need to have a strong start and needs every point they can get.

I agree about Revenge. It has been a surprise so far, so it might earn a Monday spot.

Is Rafters filming already? I guess it all depends on if they hold the final episodes of this season over for the start of next year.

There is 8 weeks before the Easter non ratings period.

Not sure if Rafters is filming already. If they are not then there goes the idea of that. Winners though could easily start the year but i fear this won't be as strong but you never know. Seven will have rolling tennis promotion so lets wait and see.

Oh I just remembered Emily Van Camp is in Revenge and would be a familiar face in that timeslot.

Now Parenthood is being fast tracked, and only has a 16 episode season (which may be increased), there may not be many episodes left over for next year, voila a timeslot for Once Upon a Time or the Working Dog shows.

MillerT2, i think that Nine should air 'The Block' after Easter, like they did this year. And dont forget that Nine airs the NRL from mid-March on Friday nights. The rest seems ok.

What to put at 7pm for those 3 months.... anything except Two and a Half Men, and Big Bang Theory. lol

(i'll be putting my schedule f networks a little later on)

Nine will be airing The Block twice next year apparently. So having the show bookend the year at 7pm looks likely. Its not a bad schedule there Miller and i actually 100% agree about The Voice Tuesday/Wednesday but Pan Am at 8:30pm Sunday? I personally think its a 9:30pm show because its not Nine's niche. Also where is Suburgatory and 2 Broke Girls? These 2 shows have to be in the schedule in February. The big big issue with having The Block at 7pm is NBN has to push all its shows back half hour which imo is pathetic because its for A Crap Affair. Sorry but this show along with TT should be off the air period!

I don't usually do this but here is what i think Nine should do in February all going well with the new shows.

Nine February

Sunday
6:30pm The Block
7:30pm 60 Minutes
8:30pm Alcatraz
9:30pm Person of Interest

Monday
7:00pm The Block
7:30pm The Big Bang Theory
8:00pm 2 Broke Girls
8:30pm Two and A Half Men
9:00pm Suburgatory
9:30pm Pam Am

Tuesday
7:00pm The Block
7:30pm The Voice Australia
9:30pm Survivor

Wednesday
7:00pm The Block
7:30pm The Voice Australia
8:30pm The Mentalist
9:30pm CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Thursday
7:00pm The Block
8:00pm RBT
8:30pm Unforgettable
9:30pm CSI: Miami until Footy Show in March.

Firstly, I should explain my decisions. Nine just has too many comedies and if all of them were played on the main channel, they would go at 8:30. We have seen this year that new comedy doesn't work well for them (Mike and Molly, $#*! My Dad Says) so these other new shows should go to GO! Also, I put Pan Am Sundays at 8:30 because I thought it would fit the Sunday night period trend like with Underbelly and Downton Abbey. I haven't seen the show but from the sounds of it, it's probably not strong enough for this timeslot.

Secondly, greysfan's schedule. Alcatraz is a better idea but it's not a sure thing. Mentalist on Wednesday nights just seems like a betrayal. It's always done best on Mondays.

I think Revenge has earned a Monday now. Seven is still advertising Happy Endings, so I guess it is in the plans for Summer. They should try it with Whitney or Up All Night, which are both struggling to maintain an audience on poor old NBC.

Once Upon a Time has also earned a plum time slot too. It could go 7.30 or 8.30, and I think it should start after the tennis to get the benefit of the tennis promos. Maybe 7.30 Sunday leading into Downton Abbey? If Bones returns after Easter/Downton/Titanic, they could run it into a fasttracked season 8 in October 2012 and keep it there for the rest of the year.

I assume those held over episodes of Rafters will premiere in Feb. If Parenthood finishes in three weeks on Seven, they should have ten episodes for early next year.
