Loved the appearance of Jess this morning but that dance number they did before it was so cheesy. I always love watching this. Always a bit of fun.

I don't know what to think about this. I'm in two minds of this.

I know it will be a "once off" as they say it, but I cant get my head around it.

Its good that we're in it for a "global exposure" as such, and to be part of this experience. But.... then there's that "we're NOT in Europe" thing too.

I'm actually excited for this. I love Eurovision but at the same time we are not Europe.

I don't want the usual suspects to compete either. No Olivia, no Kylie, no Farnham, no Delta, no old school person. This is the one and probably only chance we will have and we need to send someone who will appeal BUT also give us a chance. We have a lot of upcoming talent. I mean Sia could be an interesting one but then again she is already out there. Either way its going to be great to see.

it was announced this morning that Guy Sebastian would be our representation for the upcoming Eurovision.

I don't mind him, but would have picked a lesser known (to us Aussies).

I am absolutely lost for words.

Who was on the short list?

Why did the public not get a vote?

It appears that the public did not have a choice

Lee Lin Chin will be the presenting Australia's votes at the Eurovision. Am glad it's her.

Yep. Lee Lin Chin will be saying “Hello Vienna, this is Australia calling!” for SBS. She was announced as the Australian Spokesperson for Eurovision on The Feed.

The role sees her delivering the Australian votes during the Final on Sunday, comprising 50% Audience vote and 50% Jury vote.

Delivering the votes in a brief window and making an impression is a tall order, but the inimitable Ms. Chin has character, style and a certain je nais se quoi. But is Europe ready for her?

“Since I’m announcing my candidacy for the 2016 Gold Logie, I’m very excited. 195 million people watch Eurovision every year and if even just 10 million of those buy TV Week I’ll have it in the bag. As SBS’s most recognisable personality I couldn’t say no to such an opportunity. I’m the obvious choice – not only have I been to Europe but I also listen to music from time to time,” she said.

Earlier this month TV Tonight asked Lee Lin Chin if she would accept the role if she was asked.

“I would consider it,” she said.

“I’m not overly familiar with the format. But if they ask me (I would do it)….”

Live 5am AEST Sunday May 24th SBS ONE.

love her quotes in it, especially the Gold Logie. And am glad that this was revealed during SBS2's The Feed. Her gags/ sketches on the show is great, including todays one regarding her presenting for the Eurovision.
