Hahaha I can't Shaun did it
I got to see it happen but I missed why it happened. How come Josh & Gran got to pick that challenge. Surely Josh would have told his Gran to stay away from choosing the bad pick ?

It was a setup. He told her not to do it.. she chose it anyway. Everyone assumed that Josh would sit in the chair, she decided to do it herself and walked over to the chair before Josh could think about stopping her. She really did steal the show.

Great return tonight. Loved it. However then i stumbled across this article tonight. I don't believe a word News Limited says anymore however they have said that Shaun may be leaving the series at the end of this year. Sorry but if Shaun leaves i leave.

IS Shaun Micallef set to quit hosting Talkin' 'Bout Your Generation?

That is the buzz around TV circles today.

Channel 10 is thought to have asked Amanda Keller, the captain of the Baby Boomers team on the popular quiz show, to take over as host next year.

In a possible sign of things to come, an upcoming TBYG episode features Keller as host. In that episode, Micallef, Keller, and regulars Charlie Pickering and Josh Thomas switch places for a night.

The episode is believed to be a way to test Keller as the next TBYG host.

Micallef is apparently keen to be part of an as-yet-unnamed TV project featuring Offspring actress Kat Stewart.
Ten wouldn’t confirm or deny the rumours.

"We have just launched the next series of TBYG and haven't confirmed schedules for next year," a Ten spokesperson says.

Micallef has hosted TBYG since the show debuted in May 2009.

He won Most Popular Presenter at last year’s Logie Awards for his work on TBYG.

A new series of the comedy quiz show started on Channel 10 last night. It has been shunted back to 8.30pm to make way for The Renovators.

Earlier this year, Micallef spoke of his desire to host a night time variety show on Ten, but that hasn’t eventuated.

Frankly, I'm surprised he's lasted this long. Indeed, I am very keen to see him get his paws onto something a bit meatier...I think he's done all he's can with the panel game show genre.

Will be a very different beast with a different host, though, no doubt. No one- I mean, no one- can host in the same manner as Micallef and pull it off so well.

Amanda Keller as host will take about half the fun out of it (if not more). Good luck to her, though.

TBYG

"We'll be right back after this short-film festival, which, in my view, has far too much product placement"

Should give Micallef the Gold Logie based on this line alone. :D

I hope Shaun doesn't leave, although, like A.A said, it'd be good to see him in something meatier.
I don't think the show would be the same without him, they're a great combination.

I guess it's all very much the same now though. Probably time to quit before it dies.

i still like the show, but i (along with others) think it's lost a bit of touch of season one. And constant timslot changes this year aint helping much either!
