I already love this show and hope it lasts on Ten. Hosted by Shaun Micallef!! 8)

I think people who enjoy GNW will like this although they are pretty different, the way the game is played has its similarities...

Even George Negus was funny!!

Anyone else catch it besides myself, A.A. and Platypus?

[quote:64761e311e]An hour of inter-generational laughs!

Hold on to your rib cages, because much loved comic and TV host Shaun Micallef is about to set prime time alight with his hilarious, inter-generational quiz show Talkin' 'bout your Generation! Produced by Granada Productions for Network Ten this exciting new show pits the three generations – Baby Boomers, Generation and Gen Y – against each other in an our-long battle of wits. It's a laugh-filled quest to determine which generation really does know more, and more importantly who knows best! Each week our regular team GENerals Amanda Keller (BB), Charlie Pickering (X) and Josh Thomas (Y) will be joined by three sensational celebrity guests from across the generations.

The three teams will answer questions and face challenges from the worlds of film and television, music, news and current affairs, fads, advertising, sport, fashion and more. With points awarded not only for correct answers, but also for entertaining gags and off-beat performances, the show is guaranteed to put the zest back into zeitgeist.[/quote:64761e311e]

In the beginning of the show Micallef asked Negus "how old are you now, 70?" :naughty: which sounded bad and Negus weasled out of giving him an answer but he's in fact 67 anyway. :shifty: :shhhh:

*puts up hand and waves it madly* ;)

Micallef is back :P

I enjoyed it. It's a show that needs a good host to carry it... and he carried it well 8)

It rated well too. It's good to know Micallef isn't ratings poison.

I am on the cusp of gen X and Y, but after Y's performance last night I might stick with the Xs (and Arj). Actually I haven't watched the last 15 minutes yet, better go do that.

So's my mother, which... considering Micallef said the Baby Boomers were born from 1945 means that Negus was playing for the wrong team. Or Micallef had that wrong.

Enjoyed it, won't cry if I miss an episode but will definitely make an effort to tune in.

Always liked Micallef, I wasn't paying attention to the score system but was it like GNW?

Did it start late or just run over like TEEN (and others)always seem to enjoy doing. I put it over for NCIS and copped the end of this rubbish.

Micallef *ppffff*

Negus did admit that he was too old to be a baby boomer.

I liked it. Glad it rated well.

Now if you include the special he did for Seven, Shaun Micallef has hosted a show on all five free to air networks :o
