I saw a girl win $20k for guessing the answer to one question. :?
That was it. Didn't know it was on, don't know the format, won't make an effort to watch it.

Yeah i know...pretty poor advertising of it.

Sportingbet.com.au were offering $1.70 for Deal to win the week actually i think month of ratings. I was this close to betting $30 on it...but couldn't see it being worth the return...

Eddie McGuire? I think I'd rather be forced to sit through [i:85be3f8744]The Best Of Rove McManus[/i:85be3f8744]* :|

My mother is in the key over 50 demographic that forms most of the audience obtained by these 5.30 game shows. She is a regular Deal watcher. I put this on at 5.30 to see if she'd watch and after a few seconds she demanded the tv be switched back to Deal or No Deal. Whilst it may be strange that i'm drawing ratings predictions from my mother, I believe her attitude will be reflective of that of most older viewers. They're loyal to Deal and won't switch. Simple as that. Nine need something that will make those viewers wanna switch. Unfortunately thats not Eddie.

I only guessed it was starting as I saw the Deal ads for two weeks of there being two $200,000 cases again, so thought something must be up.

Stuck with Deal myself, can't stand Eddie Everywhere.
