This will remind me of when 9 tried to copy The Biggest Loser with that Overhaul show.

I hardly watch 9 anymore, their ideas for shows just keep getting worse.
Monster House was terrible, remember that Make My Kid A Star show? "visually i get your beautiful!"-what kind of show has a judge who yells at kids because they wear make-up?.
I dont watch Today or the news on 9 because i wouldnt recognise the reporters from someone next to me on a train, ACA has become too dramatic and is pretty much based on fashion tips and australia's worst neighbours now.

Personally I'd like to turn on Eddie McGuires tv just to see what channel he last watched

I dont have a problem with it, it was bound to happen given the Today ratings.

Oh but how the tables have turned? It wasnt long ago Seven were replicating what Nine were doing as they strived for success, but since Seven's success, the opposite is happening - Factuals, News and Sunrise etc. They only thing Seven have ripped off Nine is a Sunday a current affair show.

[quote:2882084785="greysfan"]One thing i hate is that stupid hollywood reporter on today. He was on the special nine aired called 2008 in review or something along those lines. I hate him, at least Nelson Aspen is on Sunrise.[/quote:2882084785]

I so agree.

Before Richard Reid came along, I thought Aspen was the most annoying person on TV. But since Reid's introduction, he makes Aspen more mature and mellow. But to be honest Aspen has really matured since his first gig. Reid is just an over-exposed, annoying idiot.

Also keep in mind Aspen and Reid are both total nobodies in the states.

Well DING DANG!!!

I hated Richard Reid when he first appeared (couldn't believe 9 had someone more annoying than Richard Wilkins on tv!!), but if you watch enough of his segments. His antics really grow on you.

Of course this could be Nine's effect, like with over programming two and a half men.... you're brainwashed into loving it :P

Richard Reid was okay in the beginning, he's too much now with his "Oh Ding Dang" shite, it's monotonous!

He's really got nothing to report!

EDIT = OOoops, hadn't seen your post up,there Xfactor - just a difference in view point! That's healthy!

I like the TODAY cross to the entertainment reports [b:ef26f1de22]"........and now over to the two Richards"[/b:ef26f1de22].

More like the two dicks isn't it.

I don't know Richard Reids claim to fa[i:ef26f1de22]*cough**choke*[/i:ef26f1de22]fame at least Nelson Aspen appears to have been an actor and/or writer from the comments I have heard.

[i:ef26f1de22]Disclaimer: I prefer SUNRISE but do channel surf to TODAY if they have something boring or unentertaining on.[/i:ef26f1de22]

Did some digging: Richard Reid on IMDB - nothing till started with TODAY
http://www.us.imdb.com/name/nm2486845/

Nelson Aspen on IMDB - [quote:ef26f1de22]In the late 1980s, he privately coached Broadway legend Gwen Verdon ("Sweet Charity," "Chicago") in "Vogue" dancing.

Played "Larry" in the 1994 Los Angeles production of Lanford Wilson's "Burn This" at the Coast Playhouse.

He is a multiple marathon runner, having completed fourteen marathons and scores of 5k, 10k and Half-Marathon races. Most of these benefit charitable organizations, notably AIDS Project Los Angeles (APLA), Camp Heartland and St. Jude Children's Hospital.

Auditioned for the role of "Jack" when "Will & Grace" (1998) was originally cast. Told he was "too Will" to be "Jack."

As a young actor he was coached and mentored by daytime TV icon Mary Stuart, with whom he worked on "Search for Tomorrow" (1951). When she joined the cast of "The Guiding Light" (1952) in the role of Meta Bauer, Aspen wrote her a "bible" on the character's long history. The two remained close friends until her death.[/quote:ef26f1de22]

I think I know who has more cred, as in credentials and credibility

Would that be what I saw online at ninemsn yesterday with the scrag throwing a drink over a bikini girl on her show.

How tacky by the talentless witch.

It was! I saw it on the news later. I thought she'd done it for no apparent reason, but apparently the Playboy gal had been really rude about Ozzie! :P
