And now The Amazing Race. I wasn't expecting that one.

Damn, I wish Fringe was on GEM - I'd wait (a few days that is) to watch it in HD! :D

Ditto. I think I might still wait to see how long the gap is. Trying to cutdown.

Nine hits fastrack button

TV Tonight can reveal Nine is promising to fastrack several US shows shortly:

Two and a Half Men,
The Mentalist,
The Big Bang Theory,
CSI.

It will also air $#*! My Dad Says, The Whole Truth and The Enforcers this year,

Previously announced titles Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Survivor, Top Gear Australia, The National IQ Test, plus Cricket and The Ashes are also coming in 2010.

Nine has previously indicated it would fastrack Mike and Molly which started this week in the US.

It has also said Underbelly and Panic at Rock Island telemovies will make an appearance this year -but don’t be surprised if Underbelly is bumped to next year.

Re: Fringe, no date yet, so I probably won't wait either. I was hoping it would be like The Vampire Diaries.

Good fast track list from Nine, but I don't watch any of those shows. With next week's double episode of Survivor, we will now be less than a week behind. It is sad it is not in HD though.

so this year so far what have we had fast-tracked? off the top if my head -

V
Glee
Wilfred
Californication
Nurse Jackie Season 3
Vampire Diaries
Bob's Burgers
The Simpsons
Futurama
Raising Hope
Family Guy
American Dad
Survivor
The Middle
Fringe (were behind but caught up with double eps)

not too bad, Nine and Ten have been good at getting certain shows close enough but don't think Seven has many.

PS, does this need to be in the TV News Section? not really a news topic, should be in the discussion section

have I missed any?

American Dad wasn't fast tracked. Bones was fast tracked and then it wasn't (grrrr).

I think CSI was fast tracked on Nine. Teen Wolf will kind of be fast tracked on Seven. Maybe Covert Affairs too. Torchwood will be same day fast tracked on Foxtel.

well, its about that time of year again when the new US ratings season starts and we get some of the new stuff.
Nine seem to be the winner of fast-tracking here but will it give them ratings?

what are we getting soon?

SEVEN:

hmmm, nothing announced?

NINE:

CSI, CSI: NY (Gem), Charlie's Angels, Person Of Interest, Prime Suspect, 2.5 Men, Big Bang, 2 Broke Girls, Survivor: South Pacific.

GO!

The Middle repeats have returned, most likely a sign of fast-tracking. no news of other shows returning as of yet... nothing on Nikita continuing, the usual 2 fast-tracked shows Vampire Diaries and Fringe. GO has the rights to Hart of Dixie but no date yet. Its not looking good for GO, while Nine has a lot of new and returning shows Go seems more lifeless.

TEN:

NCIS, NCIS: LA, Hawaii 5.0, Glee, Terra Nova.

Ringer being advertised as coming soon but no date, Modern Family hasn't been advertised but will most likely be fast-tracked.

ELEVEN:

Supernatural Season 7, 2 weeks after the US is better than 1 year like before.
no news on Simpsons or Cleveland but they might as well air them new.

any others?
