The gold never seems very practical to me! Every time they show it, I think 'Yes well, that's very nice and very pretty, but I think I'd rather have a cheque.'

Some of their prizes are really great (the trips in particular). Others I think I wouldn't be that interested in, like a bed a quilt set that was worth about $30,000! And for some reason almost all the jewellery they have on is white gold. I'm not a fan of white gold...

I reckon!

Even the runner-up prize of a solid gold keyring. Wouldn't it be bloody heavy to carry around in your pocket all day?

the przes are okay, it sthe contestants I not too sure about, there were some questions last week that were really really easy and know one knew them. The one about coca-cola I thought was easy "being sold in a pharmacy in Atlanta Georgia and the year, bt they needed all the clues and only knew it when he said it was a soft drink

I think that the gold is a good prize, because as much as the inflation is making stuff go up, in 5 years, it may be worth $600,000. I wouldnt mind getting a few of these prizes. The prizes that appeal to me are the car, the holiday and the gold. But the others would still be great just for answering 30 minutes worth of questions

AFAIK, there have been two major prize winners since Sale of the Century was re-badged as Temptation.

The first winner was in the first or second week of airing, I think.

so, they got the jackpot in less than a 10th of the time of Millionaire. I thought it had been won more than that.

I'm sorry, but the Volvo just does not cut the mustard with me. Everything else usually fine. They had a couple of ugly pieces of jewellery, but generally they're pretty good.
