Youre on the internet, surely you can find a way to watch those cable nominated shows in other places, even snippets of the best bits of those nominated shows

Anything that is on free to air is mostly crime dramas or reality television regardless which makes that statement rather redundant

I'm glad Jim Parsons won and that Modern Family won the best comedy award. I'm not sure of all the winners as I don't have E! news on pay TV and it wasn't aired anywhere else.

It seems the Emmys aren't all awarded on the same night? I have been hearing of people who collected their awards last week, rather than this last Sunday night.
Tony: "I'm not getting any reception. How about you?"
Ziva: "I'm braless"
Tony: "I noticed that earlier. But on your phone, they're called 'bars'"

NCIS :)

For his work on blue jasmine and American hustle
Louis ck's louie should be a shoe in for the comedy category

Not so sure about drama though :\

Its going to be a tight tussle between house of cards, mad men and breaking bad, with game of thrones being the only show not in contention

Here are the nominations for 2014. Must say a few snubs which have surprised me including Shameless, Emmy Rossum, Bellamy Young, Tatiana Maslany, James Spader, The Good Wife and Annet Mahendru. There were others but for me these were the main ones. Oh and one more thing, WHERE IS THE WALKING DEAD???

The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will be broadcast Live and exclusively on FOX8 on Tuesday August 26 from 10.00am. I seriously don't understand why one of the networks don't pick this up now they have multi-channels. Anyway.

and breaking bad has cleaned up on awards night

To paraphrase a quote (of many) from the show: "I won" O<>
I'm riding the prairie on my stallion, a mustang as such, and my sweetheart Mary now knits a stocking for me, a thousand miles away from here.

The best thing of the night had to be Billy Crystal's tribute to Robin Williams. It was amazing to see.

To the awards so glad Breaking Bad finished with a bang, Julianna Margulies was a deserving winner too. Modern Family again cleaned up best comedy while Fargo scored Best Mini-Series. The Amazing Race snagged its 9th Emmy in the reality category. As for an awards ceremony i found it quite boring as usual, the host was ok but not the best but a few good laughs in there along the way.
