I voted for Comannder in Chief, even though i haven't seen it, i have high expectations for this show.

I agree with most of those, even though 4 actress got nomainted for desperate housewives for lead role in comedy, i'm sure there can be someone else out there.

Best drama is fine, would like to see Alias in there, but that wasn't going to happen and 24 should of been up there since what a great season they had last season.

Best comedy, i'm disappointed, arrested development last chance of surviving might be gone now with the show not getting nomainted ofr best comedy, also scrubs didn't get a mention besides for best actor with zach braff.

I'm happy with Steve Carrol, Zach Braff, Larry David, Glenn Close, Lost and Curb Your Enthusiasm getting nominations. Everything else I find 'Meh'.

How did no one from Arrested Development not get nominated? Even when the writing is ordinary, the performances are top-notch.

The Golden Globes suck.

I was surprised that 24 didnt get a golden globe nomination for best drama series since the 4th season was so great.

I reckon Lost or Prison Break will win Best Drama Series.
Desperate Housewives will most likely win Best Comedy/Musical Series.
Kyra Sedgwick deserves to win Best Actress in a Drama series but i think that Glenn Close or Patricia Arquette will most likely win.
Best Actor in a Drama Series is tough but i hope Kiefer Sutherland or Hugh Laurie wins.

I've never really followed the Golden Globes because I just dont understand them. How is it possible for both Prison Break and Commander in Chief to be nominated if they haven't even completed their seasons? Where is 24, Arrested Development, The West Wing, and Deadwood? Is Lost nominated for Best Drama Series for its first or second season?

IMO the Emmy's are a much better award show and there are more voters.

EDIT: Just checked. 24 was nominated in 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004. Thats all four seasons so it couldnt be nominated this year. I don't understand how it was nominated in 2004 if the 4th season hadn't even started:?

Crap, they are some fracked up choices.

[i:c755ab14dc]None[/i:c755ab14dc] of them are deserving of Best Drama. Veronica mars, Battlestar Galactica, Deadwood and Arrested Development, arent nominated for anything. [b:c755ab14dc]Disgusting[/b:c755ab14dc]. If these awards were actually based on quality instead of which was the most hyped, we'd be seeing a much better list.

The nominees for best Actor in a drama series is royally fracked, Patrick Dempsey? LOL! Mathew Fox? No, just no. Wentworth Miller? Seriously? Why?
Ian mcshane from Deadwood rips each and every one of them to shreds. So does Edward James olmos from Battlestar Galactica.

In regards to the Best Actress category, it seems as though they are grasping at straws with those nominees. They should be handing Kristen Bell from Veronica Mars the award [i:c755ab14dc]now[/i:c755ab14dc], because she fracking deserves it. Mary Mcdonnel from Battlestar Galactica, deserves a nom aswell.

And no Arrested Development for Best Comedy. LOL! [i:c755ab14dc]That [/i:c755ab14dc]is comedy gold in itself.

Damn these awards shows are dumb. So very very dumb. i'll take them seriously when they actually honour [i:c755ab14dc]deserving[/i:c755ab14dc] shows and with these terrible nominations, it aint goona happen any time soon.[/i]

Rome certainly deserves to be in the Best Drama category. I was hooked for all 12 episodes and i enjoyed it more then almost all of the shows out of the US. The ensemble cast is incredible and the production values stunning.
