Here are the winners of the Golden Globes for 2012. I think Meryl Streeps speech was the best of the night. Ricky also targeted Kardashian which was great. He again was a great host. Looks like The Descendants and George Clooney are set to win Oscars.

Very happy with wins to Downton, Homeland, Jessica Lange and Modern Family. Personally i think Matt Leblanc didn't deserve his win. Episodes is not that good.

I actually thought Ricky was very restrained - I chuckled at some of his stuff but there was nothing too rude. Interested we got the "f bomb" live but apparently the yanks got a looooong beep. Some of the comebacks were a bit lame - Madonna I'm looking at you - (and my god how boring is that woman. And she needs to have a feed to get some fat onto her scrawny ugly arms.)
Meryl Streep's speech was awful and went far too long - where was her music?
Of the oldies:
Wow to Jane Fonda - 74years old and looking FAB!
Lovely to see Christopher Plummer get some recognition
Sidney Poitier, snorefest?

... and Damian wuz rbbed. Kelsey Grammar? pfffft

Yeah he really wasnt. Having seen every episode of both shows, i can honestly say that the best man won the award. Damian Lewis was excellent in Homeland, those who tune in this Sunday can see for themselves, but Kelsey Grammer was just so much better - not even Bryan Cranston had a chance against him this year.

He may well have been but the 20 or more years of in ground dislike for Kelsey Grammar does not allow me to acknowledge it. :P

The nominees for the 2014 Golden Globes have just been announced and there are some pleasant surprises. Tatiana Maslany, Monica Potter, James Spader, Amy Poehler and Parks and Recreation. The biggest snub imo is Claire Danes. Yes Homeland has been pretty up and down this season, mostly down but none the less she has been incredible. I'm stunned. This could just be Kerry Washington's year. Fingers crossed anyway but i actually think it will be Tatiana Maslany.

This years winners. It was good to see some Breaking Bad love for its final season and also Amy Poehler winning! Finally. However i was not impressed that Brooklyn Nine-Nine and Andy Samberg took out their respective awards. The show is not funny. The first episode was good don't get me wrong but its extremely repetitive and boring for me. To win over such high acclaimed shows as The Big Bang Theory and Modern Family imo was stupid. Each of their own though.

American Hustle did well. Its a great movie and good to see Cate Blanchett win too. Thoroughly deserved. For some reason though i feel Sandra Bullock might win the Oscar over her. I hope Cate wins it but you know what can happen on Oscar night. Anything goes.
