Of bloody course we know how it feels I am sure others have lost shows they have watched before its not the first time a channel has got the shits and removed a program.

Eh, I'm not surprised... I just hope the first season gets wrapped up nicely so that I don't go wondering what I could have seen like I do with [i:97dda58356]Always Greener[/i:97dda58356]. Now, [u:97dda58356]there's[/u:97dda58356] an Australian drama that should have had more support.

*whacks Channel 7 over the head again*

*slaps Channel 9* Now, my dear programming executives... This is what you will do. Once [i:97dda58356]The Alice[/i:97dda58356] finishes up its first and only season, you will put that unique American show you put on during the non-ratings period last year... Oh, you don't remember which one it was? It had a rather annoying theme song, but other than that it was classic stuff. It had a higher power taking different forms - mostly human. You stopped showing it two episodes before a very big plot arc, and I was really angry about that. Do you remember what it was now? No? That's okay, you've trampled over a lot of good shows in the past. It's quite possible the tapes have been lost under all the other good shows you've tossed due to your very strange love for [i:97dda58356]Survivor[/i:97dda58356] and other pointless reality shows. Entertain the people, I say. Show that you're still the one for entertainment. Don't bore your audience to tears with blatant bitchin' and back-stabbing... Intrigue them with the subtle kind. Or even better, give them a show that'll make them feel better about themselves and make them think about the wonders of the world.

*realises she's rambled too much*

*just wants [i:97dda58356]Joan of Arcadia[/i:97dda58356] back*

*... and to boost her TVA*

Doing the encore at 4:00 Saturday was a stupid idea. Sure it may have brought in some new fans, but those fans would just watch it on Saturday instead of Monday. And I'am guessing it would be the Monday night ratings that would be important.

One thing all networks have to learn - has anyone noticed that all this years successful shows (All Saints, Blue Heelers, McCloud's Daughters) started at the beginning of the year, and all the failure's (The Alice, Last Man Standing) started mid-year?

Yes I know the former shows were already established, but bringing anything new in at the middle of the year, when people have already established there viewing habits, can't help.

I'm guessing now that Nine might go with a Little Oberon series next year, depending on how it rated (does anyone know?) If they do, they would be wise to get the ball rolling now and premiere it in February.

Yep, but that's it till Channel Nine finds it another timeslot. Now that the Rugby League's all done, I'm hoping it goes to Friday nights. Sure, a lot of people go out Friday nights, but [i:a19de97f47]apparently[/i:a19de97f47] their target audience is homebodies... And I'm one of those. 8)

I don't care when it's on, really. Just as long as I know when it's coming back. :eh:
