looks good, Mean Girls meets American Horror Story. Jamie Lee Curtis is a scream queen, I wonder if they plan to bring on other Scream Queens from movies, it is the name of the show and all.

just saw an ad, this is coming soon to Wednesday's on Eleven!! :<

was hoping they wee gonna fast track it, although it's airing on Wednesdays which is usually animation fixation night. maybe they are changing things up a little, would make more sense putting it on Tuesday's or Thursday's when there's nothing on but movies. was expecting it to be on Mondays though.

also on Wednesday September 23rd they will be previewing the pilot, on Ten.

interesting...

AMENDMENT - SCREAM QUEENS EPISODE 1 ON TEN, EPISODE 2 ON ELEVEN THE SAME NIGHT

scream queensIn a very creative way, Network Ten will launch the 120 minute first episode of Scream Queens in a unique format. The first hour will air on Network Ten to create the maximum amount of first exposure on Wednesday 23rd September at 9pm then viewers will need to switch to Eleven at the completion of that first hour to see the second part at 10pm on Eleven.

When Wallace University is rocked by a string of murders, is Kappa House Queen B, Chanel Oberlin to blame? Catch Episode 2 immediately after Episode 1 on ELEVEN.

The show will then continue the following week on Eleven in a time slot to be announced. This type of scheduling is an Australian first – an avenue where the primary channel promotes and creates exposure for a show that will run on a multi channel.

so did anyone end up watching this?

I just caught up with it, was watching it as they aired but fell behind half way through. it wasn't the best or worst series ever, in the middle. the story and backstory was interesting as bits and pieces were revealed over time, the killers devil costume was freaking awesome, the kills were pretty violent for a non cable show! you get decapitations, arms getting cut off and such and some of those eps were rated M here. had some good humor in it. but Emma Roberts made the show, she plays such a 'Heathers' type of bitch and suits her, makes me think that she isn't acting. Jamie Lee Curtis was great too. the twist ending killer reveal or 'mastermind' I didn't expect, although had no idea who it could of been really.

I enjoyed it and we will be getting Season 2 later this year! wasn't renewed straight away.

what did you think?

Watched 3 or 4 eps but while the ott characters and situations were fun for a bit (as the user of a ride on mower, the ride on mower death "amused" me) the whole thing was just too ghastly to continue with. :|

Returning: Scream Queens

Welcome back to the lives of Wallace University’s most dark and deranged students as Scream Queens‘ second season gets underway on ELEVEN.

This will be fast-tracked same day as the US.

After being framed for a plethora of on campus murders, Chanel and two of her minions found a new home at Briarcliff Mental Institution, the same institution that housed Hester before she sought revenge against the sorority house responsible for the careless death of her mother.

A terrifyingly funny murder mystery will reunite the Kappa Kappa Tau residents in a new local hospital, where a series of fascinating and bizarre medical cases are under observation.

Wednesday, 21 September, 9:30pm on ELEVEN.

Hmmm wasn't Briarcliff the name of the mental hospital in AHS: Asylum?
