On Sunday night, we had the ''Underground: The Julian Assage Story'' air on Channel Ten. So i decided to make up a topic that is based on past, and upcoming, tele-movies.

Also this year, we have had Beaconsfield, The Great Mint Swindle and Mabo air, and also Howzat, but im not too sure if this is included as a tele-movie, or a two-part mini series. Jack Irish is set to appear on the ABC on Sunday (a bunch of tele-movies from what i have read recently).

Making a new post of tv movies would disappear soon after it airs, so putting them all in one post like this may be possibly easier? And it could be like an archive for us to see what was on during the year.

did anyone watch the two Jack Irish telemovies by any chance? They aired over the last two Sundays on the ABC.

I watched the second one that aired, and thought it was good. It was a nice drama, and thought that Guy Pearce and the supporting cast were good in it too

Last week, the ABC aired the tv-movie ''Damgerous Remedy''. Did anyone in here watch it? I missed out. Bummer!

Tonight, the ABC begins airing the 2-part mini-series, titled Devil's Dust. It's the story of Bernie Banton and the asbestos saga. It starts at 8.30pm. It continues tomorrow night (so i am guessing that Q &A is out for the week, or even the year?).

I say that the ABC have done a good job this year with the tele-movies (and mini-series) this year. I hope this trend continues into next year too.

ABC1 will be showing a tele-movie and mini-series in the coming weeks.

On Sunday, 26 May, at 8.30pm, a telemovie titled Cliffy will air. It's based on a true story, on Cliff Young, who was an ultra-marathon runner (athlete). It stars Kevin Harrington, Gyton Grantley and Stephen Curry, among others.

Then, on Sundays of 2 and 9 of June, at 8.30pm, Paper Wars: Magazine Wars will air, in this anticipated mini-series. It will star Rachael Griffiths and Mandy McElhinney.

Any others coming up?

anyone watch Cliffy the other day by any chance?

sadly, I did miss it, but will try watch it shortly - either on abc's website or if they replay it on abc2.

Paper Giants 2 is getting lots of ads lately, thanks to abc's promotion team. Hopefully it's as good as the first one

We did, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd never heard of him before but it was a lovely courageous story well told.

I watched the two-part story of Paper Giants (which concluded tonight). I enjoyed it. Good acting as a whole. I didn't find it as great as the original (the one with Asher Keddie), but I still thoroughly enjoyed it. Good to see Rachael Griffiths return to an Australian production - and she was great in it.

SBS will be airing ''Better Man'' tomorrow night at 8.30pm. It is a 2-part mini series, concluding next Thursday night. It is a true story, based on Van Nguyen who was executed in Singapore.

Reviews for the show has been great.
