The first time I saw the promo I just thought not another new mediocre drama, but the more I'm seeing it, the more interested I'm becoming in it.

Nine has been bombarding us with promos for this all week and especially today....I won't be watching tonight because there are clashes but will record the encore on GEM on Tuesday night.

First episode was surprisingly good. I'll probably tune in next week, but it's not must-see TV.

I only saw the ad, but it looked like the cheesiest piece of crap this country's ever produced. And that's saying something.

But each their own.

I wanted to like it but ... is it written by a bunch of bitter women? Men are not that stupid. OK, some are, but not like this bunch of numpties. And they aren't funny stupid they're just dumb stupid, nearly all the women are intolerable (Julia Morris as usual has her haughty superior thing happening, Marg Downey (wtf how much has she aged) character telling parents they aren't fit to be parents??????????????? Try saying that to a bunch of mums and see how soon you get a career enhancement from Dept of Ed), what kindy kids take a BUS for a joyride ffs??? What kindy kid would think of it??
And then we have the Justin character heroically stop the bus saving all sorts of death, injury, mayhem and he's got the cops hauling him off? And he's not being hailed a hero?? Crazy crazy world.

And the worst thing is that I can't stand Firass Dirani, and here he is the only vaguely interesting character and actor. :|
Oh, the kids were ok.

I tuned in for Anna McGahan but there is not enough of her, and far too many kids :)
