The new season is here and I thought I would start a topic on one of the buzziest (is that even a word?) sitcoms in years, 'Modern Family.' Critics such as Sepinwall think this is laugh out loud funny so too does Fienberg. When you do get the chance to sample it, please dont forget to leave a comment. I'll definitely be checking this one out.

Twas pretty good, not laugh out loud comedy, but the humour was sharp and consistent. Community was soooo much better!!

The twist at the end was unexpected.

Although I don't much like some of the cast (and some of the shows these cast-members have been associated with in the past), I didn't mind the first episode. The BB Gun bit amused me a lot more than it probably should have.

Some of Ed O'Neill's work in the first ep was quite brilliant.

His "Of course you did" when his kid said he wrote a poem was priceless. 8)

I didn't think the second episode was as good as the first, but I like it more than Community.

I liked The Community pilot better. Haven't seen the second episode yet.

The second episode had some nice lines, but it was mostly predictable. I think Ten have high hopes for this, so will treat it well so I think I am just going to watch it on Ten next year.

Hmmm yes, good point. There is just too much on at the moment to make this a priority.

I Loved the pilot, the second episode was also strong, but not quite as good as the pilot.
