I was watching Orgazmo again today which made me start this thread. I'm surprised that nobody has really made a thread about South Park. In march season 8 will be aired, so we have 7 series' worth of catching up to do in forum conversation.

The only thing that has me stumped is trying to figure out what they'll do next, it feels like they've gone everywhere they shouldn't have already. Well i love all their episodes. Matt Parker and Trey Stone's cynicism is a little extreme at times, but nonetheless hilarious.

Are there any south park fans out there or is this an anti-southpark community?

I'm not a FAN exactly but sometimes that show can be absolute gold. Especially the "Ladder to Heaven" episode. But South Park is pretty much hit-or-miss with me, I either love or hate an episode.
If Barbie is so popular, why do you have to buy her friends?

I download them, they're hardly ever on... I remember there was an 8 month delay in when I downloaded them to when they were shown on SBS.
I love the stuff, especially the more gross episodes like when Cartmen killed this boys parents and then fed their body parts to him... yeah.. sounds screwed up but it was pretty darn funny. I don't let my daughter watch it of course, and my wife doesn't care for them that much.

hehehe yeah, i protect my nieces from SP but that episode where Cartman killed that bully's parents and fed them to him was funny (yet so very wrong).

My personal favourite episode would have to be "Fat butt and pancake head" - the episode that takes the piss out of Jennifer Lopez (and to a lesser extent Ben Affleck). Gold.

I have most of the first season still on tape - they were the only episode I really got into - when it was big because it was popular  and now that its not popular I've missed it. It was also a result of 24 being on at the same time - and because I tape 24 to keep and watch it at the same time I could never watch South Park.

I used to be sooooo into Southpark- had all the toys and t-shirts ect but somewhere along the way I lost interest... I think the last episode I saw was the one where Mr Garrison was trying to be fired for being gay and everyone was like 'we are ok with that, we are ok with you being gay'.... to the point he got his new friend and shoved some live gerbil up his ass.... I was eating at the time so it got turned off QUICK SMART.

I shall tune into this new season and see if it interests me-I will make sure not to be eating but... thanks for sharing the news...

that gerbil up the bum is a joke... some are too young here for it to be spoken about here though heh. That was a pretty disgusting episode, funny none the less.

the only problem with South Park is that by the time an episode is shown here on SBS the issue that episode was dealing with ie. War In Iraq, it might be a bit out of date by the time we see it.
Modest to the top.
