Just noticed that Mary McDonnell (BSG Laura Roslin) has been added as a guest to Brisbane & Melbourne Supernova. She isn't listed on the Supernova website but this BSG convention appearance page has added her to their list today: http://community.livejournal.com/battlestar_blog/1176609.html

Is there anyone on the forum going to either the Brisbane or Melbourne Supernova who could get an autographed photo by Mary McDonnell signed to me? I'll forward the cost for purchase of photo and autograph if someone will have the time on the days to help me out. :D

For those who are attending the 2nd "All Hell Breaks Loose" Aussie Supernatural Conevention next week, the Sydney isn't the UNSW Hall @ Randwick, but @ the UTS Hall in Ultimo.

See the Hub Productions website for more details.

Agh, 2 days (till the VIP party)! ... 3 days till hell is broken loose again. Or not, since there are plenty of tickets left and the main Supernatural cast members aren't appearing this time. :geek:

All Hell Breaks Loose 2 is currently being held in Melbourne. The Sydney part was yesterday, and it was AWESOME. Much better organised than last year. When I write up the details in my online journal, I'll come back here to give you the highlights. ;)

Forgot to mention that the annual Supernova Convention was on at Olympic Park over the weekend, have a gallery here:

http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/entert ... 209?page=1

Didn't go because I was working and now find them quite tiring, though I am a comic enthusiast and they shouldn't be tiring now that i have tracked down the back issues I want. Guests are important too but I can't recall anyone appearing that I particularly wanted to see.

Anyyway, with the gallery in mind, and being an industry watcher, it seems that with the spread of cosplay as art now people take dress up deadly seriously (and even amateurs are forgiven in spirit) so it begs the question if you were to go to a comic con, who or what would you go as?

If I had the time / money and fit I'd probably go as a Star Wars Clone Officer, I'm quite fond of Captain Fordo myself, thug would happily do a Boba Fett

^ That's Captain Fordo in the red. He's notorious for shooting first and asking questions later <3

There were a few Whedonverse actors that I wanted to see - Eliza Dushku, in particular. But the Supernatural convention plus other expenses, and not knowing anyone else that was going, kept me from booking a ticket.
