Collider wrote:Marvel’s AGENT CARTER TV Series Adds REAPER Creators Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas

Marvel may have made its foray into the modern television landscape with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but it’s their Agent Carter series that’s generating the most buzz these days. If recent reports are true, then the highly secretive series may have just landed a pair of writers and executive producers in Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas of Reaper fame. The show would center on Peggy Carter, played by Hayley Atwell in Captain America: The First Avenger, and would follow her career as a secret agent after Steve Rogers is lost. Butters and Fazekas would join the show as part of their overall deal with ABC; they’ll also be showrunners on the network’s upcoming series, Resurrection. Hit the jump for more.

Deadline reports that Butters and Fazekas will be joining ABC’s Agent Carter series, giving more weight to the possibility that this show could eventually reach viewers. Dominic Cooper, who played Howard Stark in the first Cap movie, recently commented on possibly reprising his role in the series if the opportunity should arise. Agent Carter isn’t the only new series in the works, but the other planned Marvel shows are headed for Netflix. And though Agent Carter is still in early development with no official word released as to cast and crew, we do know that Atwell is still interested in starring. [Update: ABC announced at TCA that Atwell will indeed be reprising her role in the series!] Take a look at a clip from the Marvel one-shot that inspired this series:

Official Synopsis:

Picking up where the events of CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER left off, “Agent Carter” tracks British operative Peggy Carter (THE FIRST AVENGER’s Hayley Atwell) as she joins the nascent S.H.I.E.L.D. organization. As she searches for the enigmatic “Zodiac” key, Agent Carter also battles her sexist, bureaucratic boss, Agent Flynn (THE WEST WING’s Bradley Whitford), who thinks women have no place in the secret-agent business.

Co-starring Dominic Cooper (CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER) as Howard Stark, “Agent Carter” is the fourth entry in the fan-favorite “Marvel One-Shot” Short Film Series, which exists within the continuity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This series is much more interesting than S.H.I.E.L.D, looking forward to it! 8-)

Found the full one-shot, awesome!:

Superhero Hype wrote:Hayley Atwell Confirms Agent Carter for an Eight-Episode Run

We learned last week that ABC is doubling down on their small screen portion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, renewing "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." a second season and picking up the Hayley Atwell-led "Agent Carter" for a first. Today, Marvel caught up with Atwell herself and posted the below video regarding her upcoming return to the franchise wherein she reveals that the first season will run just eight episodes.

"Agent Carter," which was essentially first teased with a "Marvel One-Shot" on the Iron Man 3 home video release, is officially described as follows:

"It's 1946, and peace has dealt Peggy Carter a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers."

A premiere date has not yet been announced, but it is expected that "Agent Carter" will premiere during the midseason break of "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D."

this finally gets a FTA airing, on 7flix while Agents of Shield gets played late at night on 7 -

Airdate: Agent Carter

The good news is Agent Carter is finally set to premiere next month on 7flix.

The bad news…. it’s just been axed in the US.

The series features the Marvel Comics character Peggy Carter, a secret agent and single woman in 1940s America, with Hayley Atwell reprising her role from Captain America.

Earlier this year readers voted it the unaired international show they most wanted to see in the annual TV Tonight Awards, doubtless due to the delays in its launch. S1 premiered in the US in January 2015, with S2 this January. It’s understood discussions to screen on Foxtel were not ultimately realised.

This week ABC announced the series would not be proceeding to a third season, but Seven will have 18 episodes all up.

It’s 1946 and peace has dealt Peggy Carter (Captain America’s Hayley Atwell) a serious blow as she finds herself marginalised when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy must balance doing administrative work and going on secret missions for Howard Stark all while trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life – Steve Rogers.

It launches with a double episode, 8:30pm Monday June 6 on 7flix.
