this is meant to premiere on GO in October (1 month after the US), and Im just trying to figure out where they are gonna put it. I was thinking it would go on Thursday nights (girls nite) in Moonlight's slot when it finishes but thats 16 eps and they are starting from ep 1 which means it'll finish in late November.

it wouldn't be on Sci-Fi night cause Terminator and Fringe have lots of eps.

any theories or ideas?

either way I'll be watching it on GO and not downloading.

I'd say they will change a few things by then. They might not stick with 4 episodes of Big Bang which would mean they could have it on the Sunday Night...make it premiere night. I'm sure 9 have another show they could stick on at 9:30pm that is new. Aliens in America might be finished or they can move it same with Chistine.

Worst advertisements ever. Isn't that the girl from Secret Life of the American Teen?
I'm not a huge fan of teenagers having sex and having to decide between two boys who happen to be mixed up with vampires! It's so gay.

I haven't seen the promos, but I can't see any actress listed on IMDb who is also in The Secret Life of the American Teenager, so probably not.

Hmmm, this is based on a series of books that I [i:44348a69ba]think[/i:44348a69ba] I remember reading YEARS ago. And if that's the case, a lot of it [i:44348a69ba]is[/i:44348a69ba] going to be about a girl chosing between two boys.

So I guess it would suit Girls Night or Sci Fi night.

For some reason I think this would pair well with [i:44348a69ba]Gossip Girl[/i:44348a69ba]

Actually Firefox, these books were written well before [i:1fcc0cfe37]Twilight[/i:1fcc0cfe37].

I've been a fan of The Vampire Diaries since they [b:4cedd1388a]first published in 1991[/b:4cedd1388a]. So, this many years later, I'm so glad to see these books on the screen, even if it is the small screen.

The CW network have changed a bit of the story from the books, however, the author of the books is now optimistic about it and asking fans to give it a shot.

Personally, despite the changes, which I was dead against to start with, I am now find myself very excited. I think if you tune in or at least read the books, you'll understand that it is MORE than a vampire love story. It involves the whole town, not just certain main characters.

This is certainly NOT a teenage girl having sex with vampires. If the TV show goes that way, it has nothing to do with the way the Vampire Diaries is originally published in their book form by L. J. Smith.

I have created a fan site of the author and The Vampire Diaries, the link is in my profile. But I think if you discount this series, even if you are a Twilight fan, I think you are missing out.

Certainly, the vampire craze comes in and out of our lives...I think this is just the 'new wave'.
