Creating new thread since it appears the old one has been accidently deleted *tear*

I guess we need this thread now more than even with the imminent return of Mulder and Scully to our silver screen! As discussed before, it has been reported that the lawsuit is FINALLY over after years and year, and both David and Gillian have expressed elation at the prospect of doing another movie (Squee!).
The script is being put together i hear, and tentatively the date to start filming is 2008.

I guess to a certain extent this is all hearsay and alot of fans don't want to get their hopes up.. we have heard all this before but this time it seems legit.

(I am SO excited! What do we all think about this development in the perpetual post X-files saga?)
Greg: You know, this is exactly like a dream I had once, except it wasn't in a
garage. And Grissom wasn't watching. *Sara suppresses a smile.* That was a
different dream

Dam I wish they'd get the wheels rolling on this movie. It would have to be definately my most anticipated movie/sequel now. But the anticipation has dragged onto near disinterest, probably even for many fans :( .

Thanks for that, but hmm, seems they're 6 disk sets, so they're minus 1 disk from before. So will atleast be missing a majority of the extras. I couldn't even guage if the 6 disks they have even have extras either. I'm they're very 'barebones' releases.

I've only got four seasons, but two of those are VHS (bought too long ago to remember if DVDs were even available). I don't know if I'd buy the whole series in these new sets; I'm not really a stickler for "DVD uniformity".

Just to kick start this thread a little again.

Anyone about who owns any or all or the X-Files TV Series on DVD?

Care to post pics of your collections? I'd just like to ogle from afar at your priceless cases of Sci-Fi antiquity  .

I have been interested in buying the entire 9 seasons of the Collectors boxsets from Ebay or somewhere. But obviously it's quite expensive and I've also seen these '62 disk boxes' that appear to be bootlegs or something from China, not official releases.

I guess I'm prepared to wait out. Too bad I didn't buy them when they were in stores back earlier this decade  .

Well I brought season 1 about 2 weeks about ago and am ordering the rest online from the US as they are cheaper. So when I have at least 2 seasons I will start watching it and sharing my thoughts about all the episodes.

Get excited Celler Door. :shifty:
