New eps of Supernatural return Monday 26 Jan @ 8.30pm on ELEVEN.
The power of submission lies not in the ability to kneel before another, to give over one's body or in the wearing of a collar.
The power of submission can be found only in the heart of one who gives her love to another freely knowing what joy and pain will come of it - Roguer

The recent ep with Cole was interesting. This version of the Khan Worm had me thinking of the Fringe episodes 'Snakehead' and that one with the giant cold virus erupting from peoples mouths. Also that ep in S9? with the fat sucking MOTW.

So yeah this season's main arc definitely shaping up to be Dean and the Mark. Also: Rowena becoming a bit of an antagonist in the last few eps.

The last few eps...Wow. First theres a bit of parallel-ing with the storylines again - Charlie getting killed being for Sam a lot like what Kevin was for Dean last season. Also Dean's moral event horizon moment. I thought this might have been the way this was headed when the youngest Styne (interesting reveal there with the Frankenstein family thing btw) was introduced - it was quite cold and really sold 'geez Dean really has snapped now' than if they just had him pulverise Cas at the end there.

Which in itself is kinda reminiscent in ways of Sam's descent into madness with the demon blood at the end of S4 and beating up on Dean - although also back then killing Lillith was an extra driving force for Sam and powering up with the DB was by choice. Whereas with Dean and the MoC, the Mark is consuming him and theres no 'Im only keeping it to defeat (current Big Bad)' - the focus is on finding a way to remove the MoC before Dean goes completely postal.

I thought the guy playing Eldon looked familiar - at first I thought it might be Josh Dallas from Once Upon a Time, but actually its David Hoflin, who used to be in Neighbours (circa 2007-08)! Apparently he's been in a few other US shows in the last couple of years.

And whoa Crowley is also a bit scary again! That was a pretty intense scene with Sam. Gonna be an interesting Finale.

after long break Supernatural is back.... BUT not at its usual 8:30 timeslot, on Monday it'll be on at 9:30!

after so many seasons of it being on both Ten and Eleven at 8:30, for some reason it's on at 9:30.

not sure if it's a one off but that's not cool Ten!
