i haven't watched Supersize Me, yet, but i did watch 30 days. What a good show. Working on a minimum wage would be hard, especially for the dude in the show who has made alot of money from his works on Supersize Me. I will be watching the other 5 shows.

Have to say that I watched it and loved it too.

I think they both bring a personal sense to it by living it for 30 days rather than just documenting somebody else trying to do it.

Have definitely marked this one to watch every week. :)

i watched the show last week, and tonight. what a great show. Tonight's show was about anti-aging, and steroid / drug use. Very educational, and entertaining. Next week's episode is on about binge-drinking.

From 65 million sperm counts down to zero in a matter of 20 or so days. That's just scary.

I'm looking forward to next week's topic. Bring it on.

How creepy was that "Dr" dispensing the anti- aging stuff; and why would you not just try eating better & exercise first before the chemical cocktail.

The Mum binge drinking next should be interesting!

Yes this was a great episode lastnight.

I saw a story a while ago on Catalyst (I think) that touched this subject. They spoke to scientists involved with studies with partipants taking massive doses of vitamins and/or hormones, either pure or cocktails, for anti- aging or preventive cancer purposes and the outcomes were quite frightening.

Even the scientists were shocked at the results as they were finding that the outcomes were the opposite to what they were intending.

I remember seeing some segment on A Current Affair where people who injected themselves with growth hormone daily swear that this stuff improves their lifestyle...gee I'm wondering if they watched this show.

Yeah I agree, he could of gotten back to his goal weight and break his old college swimming record without the drugs. All the improvements he had achieved during his 30 days like the weight he lost had nothing to do with the hormones, he just got off his ass and started exercising.

I enjoyed this episode but I actually like the ones where the presenter experiences it for himself (but can totally understand why he didn't do this experiment and next weeks one for that matter).

I can't believe someone would actually pop 22+ pills a day and not expect that to have a serious affect on the body. Nevertheless it was very interesting to watch.

I've found this show really fascinating. It's just a pity it's on so late as there are some interesting and sometimes serious aspects that people should probably be more aware of. The whole binge drinking episode next week should be seen be everyone IMO.
