For those that have seen SuperSize me this is a 6 part series from Morgan Spurlock which chronicles the lives of people as they "swap" roles for 30 days to see what its like to live on the other side

Episode 1 - Had Morgan and his fiance try to live 30 days on minimum wage. They have rules to obey etc and tasks to perform such as find a job, accomodation etc.

Episode 2 - A guy uses steroids, pills etc for 30days to try to lose weight and get a six pack. Worth watching for WHY he abondons the task 1/2 way through

Episode 3 - Christian living as a Muslim.

Episode 4 - Straight man living as in a gay community

Episode 5 - Living off the grid. Two people, a meat eater and a consumer junkie live in a commune where everything is recycled. Including there own waste

Episode 6 - Binge Drinking. To try to help her (read stupid, useless daughter) see why she should not drink to excess. Her mum binge drinks for 30 days with less than desirable results

This is a series that would be perfect to be picked up by SBS or ABC. Worth tracking down for those that have never seen it

I've read about this series on the US forums and I would love to see it.

The steroid task sounds dangerous though.

Watch and enjoy !
I've seen all the episodes and they are all really interestig insights into conflicting points of views and ideologies.
The 'off the grid' is especially hilarious when the city guys see their toilet !!!
One a down note, the one about binge drinking (which appealed to me as the mother of a teenage daughter) was a let down and didn't seem to be any kind of warning / wake up call or even a particularly negative view of the process.

Well the show was certainly an eye-opener. Makes me thankful for our no where near perfect health system we have.

I was getting paid more per hour when working at a retail store back in high school than what these guys were earning.

Its true when they say the people who work on minimum wage are living on a knife edge considering one small incident can you put you back in the red.

i didn't know anything about this, but it immediately followed the Surgeon. I had nothing better to do so I gave it a shot.

Very interesting! :D I can't wait to see what else ole Morgan could get up to in future endeavours.

The best line of the episode - "Did he call me Malcolm?"
