As usual I'm drawn to this type of program. I was just Googling to see when it starts and I saw that people are petitioning to stop it being aired :?

I won't be signing the petition but of course it should be pulled from air.

They are making a farce of marriage ... and people say that allowing same-sex couples to marry is wrong. Seeing the person you are about to marry when you are stood at the front of a crowd in front of a marriage celebrant is wrong and I also doubt would be legal because of the paperwork that is required to be signed by both parties one month and 1 day before the wedding. The premise of the show is a farce and should not be on the air.

I for one will not be watching it.

Yeah, but it's their choice to be there. They weren't forced into doing it.
I think it'll be quite amusing. But then, that's just me.

Funnily enough at a Gay4Play Doggie Day event yesterday Channel 9 actually sent someone to 'recruit' gay men to appear in the next series ...

Well, that's the first two couple married.
I think the first two (Jason and Kate) look good together, and the second couple (Emma and James), although a bit odd looking, they seemed to laugh their way awkwardly through the ceremony
