Simon and Alene - Really nice people - hope they like each other.

Andrew and Vanessa - Not sure about these two. I really like his mum.

Fifth wedding - Simon and Alene - Awkward, opposites to look at. The bridesmaid was very negative, and didn't like the look of him.

Sixth wedding - Andrew and Vanessa - Everyone was really happy. The kiss they shared was very convincing.

Can't believe I'm watching this drivel.
So ridiculous ... and the so called experts trying to cover the nonsense with credibility by constantly reminding us its 'an experiment' ... NO, it's not , it's lowest common denominator, totally manipulated/scripted trash tv.

Ugh, I'm semi- hooked. :(

That Cheryl is one of the horrible-ist people I've ever seen on tv. Unattractive physically and can't shut up, non stop dribble oozing out of her ugly gob. Aarrghh. :x
:P :D

God, I'm still watching this nonsense :?

These "commitment ceremony" eps are a waste of space. Where's the drama? Other than in the ludicrous music that is.

Wasn't he a foul twat!!!
Mind you, I wouldn't have been impressed with FiremanSam turning up in the baggy singlet (but I think he changed out of that one? - wasn't paying full attention)

Married at First Sight 2018: meet the cast

Married at First Sight returns on January 29 with its first two “TV weddings” and no shortage of drama.

There are nerves, tears, hopes, threats and arrogant claims all in the first episode.

Relationship experts John Aiken & Mel Schilling, plus neuropsychotherapist Dr Trisha Stratford return to pair 10 more couples for the cameras, but who will last the distance?

Married at First Sight Australia forces mismatched couple to stay against their will

In what is surely a first for Australian television, Married at First Sight has forced a desperate-to-leave couple to stay on the show even though there appears no chance of their "scientific" match working out.

The move raises some serious questions. Like, how could the "experts" get it so outrageously wrong, yet again (or is that the point)? How binding are the rules that say even if just one party wants to stay both must? Most pressing of all, when did incarceration become the stuff of entertainment?

It was obvious from the moment publican Sean clapped eyes on his instabride Jo that theirs would not be a match made in heaven. "Oh s...," he muttered at the altar, a response so awful it garnered headlines on the other side of the planet.

Luckily, she didn't hear that. She was too busy being utterly consumed by the fabulousness of it all. As she said on Sunday night's episode, "The wedding was my fairytale come true".
