what have you watched this year?

Christmas Eve I watched Home Alone and Gremlins.

I didn't get time to watch anything else today.

I didn't watch anything on TV live, I just watched things we'd recorded - actually, I did record Carlos By Candlelight to put on Christmas morning since TV is woeful on Christmas day.

I watched The Santa Clause movie this year. This film I enjoy (I'm not a fan of its sequels however).

For the last decade, id watch Bad Santa just before Christmas for a laugh, but sadly forgot to watch this time around. Oops

During Christmas Day itself, I don't tend to watch anything. But our household had the Carols by Candlelight on the tv as background noise.

I was planning on watching more then 2 like Gremlins 2, Scrooged, Bad Santa and a few others but there wasn't much time to spare. I did end up watching Home Alone 2, on boxing day. basically chose those 3 since it had been a while since I had seen them. it doesn't always have to be christmas to watch christmas movies, I can watch Bad Santa anytime!

well, it's that time of year. what will you be watching?

I try to watch something different every year, have just today started my Christmas movie viewings.

with work getting in the way I gotta pick them carefully and watch them around work. I have today off though.

so far I have watched The Ref and am currently watching Mixed Nuts.

after that Trapped In Paradise, Jingle All The Way and Scrooged. these are ones I haven't watched in a while.

if I have more time - Home Alone, Gremlins, Surviving Christmas. that's my aim anyway.

Christmas Eve I want to rewatch The Night Before (kind of appropriate) and maybe Bad Santa.

I want to watch some Christmas themed horror movies but probably won't have the time.

how about you guys?

watched the ones I said I would so far, currently watching Gremlins. it's been a while, kinda slow and boring.

later tonight I'm gonna change it up and watch Black Christmas.

everyone always goes on about Die Hard being a Christmas movie, but I'm pretty sure Lethal Weapon is also set around Christmas.

Every year, i seem to watch Bad Santa and The Santa Clause 1 (Tim Allen) whenever they air it on tv.

Then there is the odd Christmas movie i watch, that is on in the background. Last year, i remember watching Jack Frost for the first time. What a weird film, but still watched a good chuck of it. lol.

For some reason, i had The Search for Santa Paws (part 1 or 2, i cant remember) on as the background earlier this week. Good as a family film. But nothing too special.

I will try watch Jingle All the Way this Sunday.
