Seven delays Little Big Shots against Ninja Warriors

Seven has held off launching Little Big Shots this Sunday against the might of Nine’s Australian Ninja Warriors.

The backflip comes despite Seven already running on-air promos for Little Big Shots for 7pm Sunday night.

But the Ninja Warriors has pulled massive numbers across two nights, as high as 1.68m viewers, swamping the family viewing audience.

The decision not to pit their new show against Nine’s athletes, is a rare move from Seven which has been running its own race this year and is out in front in the ratings race.

A new broadcast date is yet to be announced.

Returning: NCIS

NCIS returns to TEN soon for the continuation of episodes that were halted some weeks ago.

S14 E20 “A Bowl Of Cherries” returns at 8:30pm Tuesday July 25.

After a vice admiral’s laptop is infected with ransomware, he enlists McGee and the NCIS team to track down the hacker before the computer virus eliminates his personal and professional files.

But it is the other changes surrounding it that are far more telling.

Shark Tank moves to a 7:30pm slot on the same night.

That means a 2.5hr slot on Monday July 24 as a dead cert for the MasterChef finale. This will likely prove the signal for Seven to unleash Hell’s Kitchen Australia.

All it has to do now is navigate around the end of Australian Ninja Warrior  (yet to be announced) and the start of The Block on July 30.

TEN slips in Family Feud special, but holds off Shark Tank, NCIS.

TEN has amended its schedule for next Tuesday, opting not to take on Nine’s Australia Ninja Warrior finale.

Instead of Shark Tank and a returning NCIS, it will now repeat an All Star Family Feud edition with Bachelor vs Bachelorettes.

They tried their luck at love in front of television audiences and now the stars of the 2016 seasons of The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette go head-to-head on tonight’s episode of All Star Family Feud.

All in the name of charity, team captain Osher Günsberg leads merry bachelors Richie Strahan, Dave Bilsborrow and Davey Lloyd.

Star of The Bachelorette Australia, Georgia Love captains a bevy of beauties including Alex Nation, Keira Maguire and Heather Maltman. Which team will come out on top and receive the final rose?

I suspect those who watched it last time already know who gets that final rose, so the sentence is superfluous.

TEN is yet to confirm a new return for NCIS.

Gone: Behave Yourself. Bumped: Yummy Mummies

Seven has quietly yanked failing panel show Behave Yourself from the schedule, and pushed Yummy Mummies back to a later timeslot (in what may well be its conclusion).

Its schedule this Tuesday, against the Ninja Warrior finale is:

7:30pm Mighty Cruise Ships new
8:30pm Ramsay’s Hotel Hell rpt
9:30pm Yummy Mummies dbl

The move will be temporary with Seven expected to unveil new shows next week.
