Bumped: The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles (but wait!)

Normally when a show gets Bumped its generally to a later timeslot, another day or even another channel.

GEM is bumping The Closer, Rizzoli & Isles after they aired last night -but to an earlier timeslot.

The Closer, which played at 9:30pm last night, will air at 8:30pm next Wednesday while Rizzoli & Isles will shift from 10:30pm to 9:30pm.

Out of schedule is the What Would You Do? which aired at 8:30pm last night but pulled 38,000, well below The Closer‘s 90,000 and Rizzoli and Isle‘s 68,000.

It was a good decision for Nine's board to let the Ashes air on Gem. The ratings for the series has been great so far.

Although, I haven't really watched much of it, cause I'm not much of a cricket fan. lol. But good on Gem anyway.

Sport to move from GEM to GO!

Live Sport currently seen on GEM will be moved to GO! as part of Nine’s rebranding of its channels.

When Nine becomes a high definition channel and LIFE launches from November 26, GEM will no longer be an HD channel and resume its female-skewing content.

In contrast GO! will be the home of more male-skewing content, meaning Live Sport, such as “over-runs” from Nine broadcasts, will be included.
