I got no problem with British shows but they seem to be on every night, I don't think I've watched this channel since mid year when shows like 24, Heroes and Lost finished. looking at Seven's 2011 lineup, it seems that they have lots of shows but so little timeslots to play them in. brand new shows plus old ones, I would think they'd run out of room.

hopefully they'll be smart about it and air lower rating shows in the US at the moment like Detroit 187 and No Ordinary Family as well as others like Hung. 7mate is pretty different than the main 2 channels so it would be nice if they actually treated 7two as 7two, an extension of 7.

At least 7 have given their channels "themes" and have stuck with them. 7two is now dominated by UK/BBC shows. 7Mate is mostly ripped from Discovery channel. Gem & Go! are almost indistinguishable from Nein's main channel - complete with the main channel's complete lack of consistency with its programming.

I think 72 is now going to stay all British/lifestyle from now. They rate too well. I hope they find somewhere to play out the second seasons of The Riches and October Road. October Rd could go daytime on the main channel, and both could go to midnight slots. And will 72 finally play Mistresses season two.

Awesome, Welcome Back Kotter is back on TV!! Nice daytime lineup but that sort of
lineup kinda belongs on a different sort of channel like GO or Gem instead of 7two.

7Two Daytime Line-up

7Two will have a new look daytime line-up from Monday January 17th which will look like this:

11:30 - Passport to the Sun New to 7Two

12:00 - Murphy Brown ® New Time

12:30 - The Good Life ® New to 7Two

1:00 - Best of The Morning Show

2:00 - Full House ®

2:30 - MOVIES

4:30 - Welcome Back Kotter ® New to 7Two

5:00 - Head of the Class ®

5:30 - Growing Pains ®

6:00 - A House In… ®

6:30 - Bargain Hunt

I'd actually sit down and watch or tape these old comedies if they weren't on every day.

Why move Full House to a 2 pm time slot? I reckon it was fine with ALF during the week at 6.30. It seems out of place.

More British shows for 7TWO. Maybe they should just rename it The British Channel.

TV Tonight wrote:7TWO hearts UK telly

More classic British TV shows are about to begin on 7TWO.

They include The Sweeney, Murphy’s Law and That’s My Boy.

With Dennis Waterman appearing in The Sweeney, and Mollie Sugden in That’s My Boy we might have to start calling this channel Little Britain.

Rite the feem toon, sing the feem toon…

The Sweeney,
Season 1, Ep 1 ‘The Ringer’
Monday, February 7
10:50pm (M)
This series follows Inspector Jack Regan and Sergeant George Carter as they brawl and battle their way through life as part of Scotland Yard’s undercover crime unit, the Flying Squad. Starring Dennis Waterman, John Thaw, Garfield Morgan, Ian Hendry, Brian Blessed, Jill Townsend, Colin Douglas, Allan Lake & June Brown.

Murphy’s Law
Season 1, Ep 1 & 2
Wednesday , February 9
9:45pm (AV)
In tonight’s episode: After his daughter is killed by terrorists, Detective Tommy Murphy vows to take on the most dangerous undercover assignments. Murphy is ordered to infiltrate a gang that is implicated in a series of diamond raids in London, but to do so he must first impress the gang’s ruthless boss, Hatcher, and charm his sidekick Annie. Murphy soon finds himself out of his depth, embroiled in a much larger plot involving drugs and the Yakuza, Japan’s equivalent of the mafia. Starring James Nesbitt, Del Synnott, Sarah Berger, Claudia Harrison, Michael Feast & Mark Womack

That’s My Boy
Season 1, Ep 1 ‘Live as Family’
Friday, February 11
7:30pm (PG)
When Robert Price and his wife Angie decide to hire some domestic help they end up with Ida who turns out to be Robert’s mother. Starring Mollie Sugden, Christopher Blake & Jennifer Lonsdale.

7TWO Programming highlights April 24-30, 2011

As they did last year, 7TWO will again air the complete documentary series called ANZAC non-stop on ANZAC day, Monday April 25, from 3.30am until 6pm - an outstanding documentary series following the fortunes of Australian and New Zealand forces though World War 2.

New to 7TWO at 9.40pm, Monday April 25, is the Gil Mayo Mysteries. This, the first episode sees Mayo investigating the murder of Simon Johnston, a young “trustafarian” being treated for cocaine addiction at the exclusive Rossi Rehabilitation Clinic.

7TWO Thursday movies for April 28 are The Prince & Me at 7.30pm, and The Wedding Dress at 9.45pm.

Royal Wedding Day - April 29 is mostly regular programming for 7TWO in Sydney and Brisbane. 6pm is slated as a Royal Wedding related news special. Bargain Hunt at 6.30, then The World Around Us at 7.30. Escape To The Country at 8.30 and 60 Minute Makeover at 9.30pm.

In Perth, they have Bargain Hunt at 6pm, On The Buses from 7pm, TBA (probably will be The World Around us) at 8pm and Escape To The Country at 9pm and 60 Minute Makeover at 10pm.

In Melbourne and Adelaide, the Royal Wedding airs live on 7TWO from 6pm, finishing at 11pm in Melbourne and 10.30pm in Adelaide.

The split market programming will mean Melbourne and Adelaide will be an episode behind Sydney, Brisbane and Perth for Escape To The Country and 60 Minute Makeover.

In all markets, the 7TWO Late Movie for the night is the same - Return of the Seven - starting at 10.30pm except for Melbourne & Perth, where is starts at 11pm.

Regional 7TWO’s will follow the market from which the feed is taken from. For example - NSW will follow Sydney programming, Victoria Melbourne, WA Perth, etc. Tasmania and Darwin check closer to the date.

I'm glad that 7TWO has now a much better focus then when it first started, now it's mostly UK stuff and an excellent directino to have. With the Bill and Doc Martin coming to 7TWO in May, it should even be better.

I do hope we get at least The Bill in a decent timeslot, maybe a double or 4 eps per week like how the Bill was done on ABC before the changes.
