NBC have been in trouble for some years now. They haven't got anything really and they are not really creating anything good. They only persist with what they have because they have nothing else. Only Smash is something i am very interested in but then again this could fall flat on its face too. Its not good all round. The Voice could be hampered with the fact that The Sing Off has failed on Mondays and well X Factor and Idol are around.

CW is the same. They have lost so much these past few weeks. The demo's are shocking and the viewers have almost switched off. Vampire Diaries at 2.5m is the highest show on the network and that is sad, very sad. All the rest are below the 2m mark and nearly all shows are under the 1.0 demo. I am predicting this network will be no more in a couple of years. How can they sustain running at a loss?

It really does look like CBS is like Channel Seven: almost everything on their channel rates well enough. FOX is like Channel Ten: They focus on a younger demographic and while most things don't set the world on fire, they always have one show that is the talk of the nation (American Idol and MasterChef). NBC is like Channel Nine: almost nothing works on the channel and do things cheaply.

This weeks ratings so far. The baseball is causing havoc on the FOX schedule with a few days cancelled.

- Interesting debut for Last Man Standing. Too bad i found it a bad egg. Its not my kind of comedy.
- NCIS still doing well but NCIS LA is down week on week. DWTS beating it is a small highlight considering
- Body of Proof is hurting. Its such a shame because this show is good. I hope it continues because it doesn't deserve to be getting these lower ratings. Funny how V and Brothers and Sisters ratings from last season are looking better than a few shows now.
- Unforgettable drops again. I wonder how much lower it will fall. Its getting a bit boring now.
- Ringer up on last week which is great. Maybe the news that the show has a full season could have it go up as people will go ok it must be ok if its getting a full season.
- Biggest Loser is really hurting NBC. Last year it was one of the shining stars. Look at it now.

- HIMYM takes a hit and CBS's comedies are still dominating
- DWTS is hurting big time and in turn Castle is equally hurting but imo its holding up just well enough. I hope it doesn't drop below 2.0

Here is the past couple of days. Two and A Half Men has lost 1/2 of its premiere audience. For a show to do that is a huge worrying sign but the problem here is it has lost from a huge premiere.

- Good to see Castle up 4pts from last week. I guess House threw a huge spanner in the works but it sucks H50 is still on top. Guess its the #1 syndrome where an average show gets good ratings regardless.
- Two and a Half Men has lost half of its premiere audience and has dropped to the #2 comedy for the week.
- NBC and CW might as well go and curl up in a ball and die.

-Gee, Biggest Loser has certainly lost interest this season. It was sitting around 10 million last season, wasn't it? It is certainly becoming a tired format and should be rested. But I guess seeing as it's NBC, they probably don't have anything else.
-Is Unforgettable doing well because it's a great show or because it's on CBS and has the NCIS double as a lead-in?
-X Factor still doing over 10 million despite the fact that it has had a few night changes recently. Hopefully it will get better as the live shows start. Top 16 means that the show will go for two and a half hours. How will FOX fit that into its schedule? 7:30 start or 10:30 finish? Not sure if they can do this.

- Heres a massive dilemma for NBC. They have 8.5m viewers watching Harry's Law and we all know the older generation watches this show yet only a 1.2 in the demo. If this was Australia HL would be safe as houses but a show like The Office getting over 3 in the demo but only 5.5m would be in jeopardy. So its an interesting thing. O would like to see Australia convert this way and see how different the ratings would be.
- Revenge is holding solid. CSI and Law and Order: SVU are also polling well at 10pm. Its rare in America these days that all 10pm shows are above 2.0.
- Modern Family is just one big giant. Its killing them
- Criminal Minds is fantastic this season and the ratings reflect this. Its one of the few CBS crime shows i enjoy. The other is NCIS. The rest are all meh.
- World Series hits lows.

Sorry i have been busy but news on Once Upon a Time is great. 3.9 in the 2nd airing and hardly loses anything from last week. This show is so good. So glad to see it do well in the 2nd week. Seven will be popping the corks on this one i think. The problem i see is will an Australian audience go for this show? I know i did but we will see. In long term this could be ABC's new 9pm show next fall if these ratings hold up in weeks to come. I know its early but the buzz is definitely around this show. DH is also getting a boost with a much better lead in and Pan Am was even up on last week.

In other Sunday night news Allen Gregory fails to impress with viewers.

The Voice backs up well on Monday night. It seems it might be a force in 2012 and finally gives NBC some good news for once. Smash does well too but Once still remains the #1 scripted series of the new season with a 4.0. Mind you Smash was on iTunes and other means a couple of weeks early so it might increase next week. Ouch for Castle. 2.0 is sad and i hate that Hawaii Five0 crap is beating it. Alcatraz continues to slip. The show is on the wane and things look more promising now for Terra Nova. One can hope anyway.
