Too few people watch SBS and the ABC. There are actually people out there that dont change channels, not because they cant but because their like relegoius people. blinded by faith. they lose really.

Speaking of SBS, theres going to be a great documentary on Thursday night, February 15 at 8.30pm.

It's called Kidnapped!

"From the early 1970s to the mid-80s, scores of ordinary Japanese began disappearing without a trace, many of them from beaches and remote villages along the Japan Sea coast, others from Tokyo, London and Madrid. After decades of speculation, it was finally revealed in 2002 that these ordinary Japanese citizens had in fact been abducted by North Korean spies as part of a bizarre and sinister plot of espionage by the hardline, communist dictatorship of Kim Jong Il. From the last front of the Cold War to the new battle against the Axis of Evil, Kidnapped! tells the extraordinary story of a group of Japanese citizens who were abducted by North Korean spies and the subsequent struggle of their families to have their loved ones returned."

Absolutely. I love the new format they've introduced. The graphics are much, much better than what they had, Stan and Mary are both great newsreaders, and the show is inclined to bury something like the Corby story mid-bulletin (not sure though if they did). Their overseas weather, as always, is also very interesting. Makes for, as you say, probably the best news program going around, perhaps because it is actually a news program, and not infotainment

SBS is probably my third most watched network, behind 7 and 9.

SBS has the best soccer coverage. I would be (and have been) very upset if any other station covers anything soccer or cycling.

SBS has some of the best stuff! Dateline, Frontline documentaries, various other documentaries! I suppose if you're not into documentaries or soccer then it could be a bit boring.

Dam thought so, then I say it in past tense then, but Margaret and David are still around with 'At The Movies' on ABC. Though SBS did kind of stuff it up, by letting them go/having them leave, but none-the-less we can thank SBS for introducing them to our screens in a show with that format. :beers:

It's a shame we don't have 2 Movie Shows anymore. It was cool while it lasted, though wierd. It's Dam hard to supplant Margaret and David :( .
